After school let out Ann and I went to my house, set our things down, greeted my family and went outside. When we were far enough from the town, we shifted.

Ann was a beautiful light dun with black stripes on her legs that went up to her knees, and a black stripe running from her mane to her tail along her spine. She was around 14 hands tall.

Ann and I squealed and took off, heading towards the forest. We entered the forest and slowed to a trot. I always trotted with my tail held high like a banner. I couldn't help it. I stopped and lifted my head, swiveling my ears.

"Whats wrong Lib?"

"I don't know Ann, I thought I heard something."

Suddenly, a large, young black stallion stepped out of the shadows. Ann and I squealed. My ears went back and my eyes flashed as I reared.

"Get back! And who are you?!"

I snorted angrily. As a human I wouldn't have been able to do this, but as a horse, I wasn't shy, or scared.

"Calm down. It's just Seth. We go to school together Liberty."

My nostrils flared and I calmed, tilting one ear forwards.

"Well don't scare me like that Seth."

He shrugged and turned, vanishing into the woods.

"That was weird huh Lib?"

"Yeah, we better go, dinners probably ready anyways."

We turned and made our way back downhill. I was curious why Seth was in the woods. Others usually went to the woods on the other side of town. Oh well.

My parents left soon after dinner. They were going up to a town a couple hours away to have a 'couple day'.

Ann had me shower for tomorrow and afterwards we watched Netflix until almost one in the morning. Then we fell asleep quite quickly. I was excited for tomorrow.

A/N: I know this chapter is short, but it's kind of a filler, there'll be bigger ones soon.
