Chapter 3 Cabin rose

As I walk into the girls cabin I see that cabin rose is available. as I walk inside I notice a bunk is empty. I put all my clothes in the dresser that is there and grab one of my giant skull and cross bones sticker and put it on the dresser. as I walk out I notice a girl walking into cabin robin. "hey I'm Dylan and I'm new here, nice to meet you." I say to the girl. "nice to meet you dylan .I'm Naja." she says with enthusiasm. I walk out semi smiling at her. when I get to the camp fire I see holly and lynx holding hands. "hey!" I say sitting down next to lynx. "hey dylan me and holly were about to leave for the stables, wanna come?" I think for a second "I guess i'll go. I'm a bit rusty at riding but I'll give it a go." as we head to the stables I see someone in the bushes and some meowing. it must be one of the cat lovers. When we get there I see two horses are not taken. ribbon and button. I walk over to ribbon and her sign says "caution horse will kick and buckle. use at your own risk." I don't mind since my old horse Scarlett was a though horse too. I open the stable door and ribbon starts to kick. what I do to calm a horse down is get an apple. so I go into my bag and take out an apple. I was gonna eat it later but this is an emergency. ribbon then settles down reaching for the apple and eating it. I go get all her riding gear and put it on her. I grab ribbon by the reins and walk out. lynx and holly staring at me. "what? I can't take out a horse?" I say. "no it's just.how did you. what?" lynx says scratch his head. "I used to ride horses and my horse Scarlett was just like ribbon." I reply. "so what are your horses names?" I ask. "mine is rusted." holly replies quickly. "mine is the fastest horse and his name is nightmere." lynx says hopping onto his horse. I jump onto ribbon quickly and walk out. "can I lead?" I ask. "be my guest." lynx says playfully. u flick the reins and start riding really fast. I then stop at the top of a mountain waiting for everyone else. five minutes pass by. fifteen. they never show up. I trot back and see lynx on the verge of tears and holly laying on the ground. "holly wake up. p-please." lynx starts yelling. rusted is laying on the ground on her side not moving. "lynx take holly back on ribbon I will take care of the horses." I tell lynx as calmly as I can. he nods at me putting holly on ribbon and riding her away. I bend down looking at rusted. her knee is swollen. what I do is go inside my bag take out some gauze and wrap it around rusted's knee. then I cover her up with my lucky blanket and wait there with nightmare. "have I just ruined my first impression?" I think to myself.
