Chapter 17 Guys are fails

I wake up to the sound of Lynx moving in his chair. "Hey." I say looking at him my stomach taking a drop at what he did yesterday. "how long have I been asleep?" He asks. I look at him. I'm surprised he doesn't even care about Holly. "Since you were in the woods, about a day, I guess." I reply. "what did I do?" He asks with a look of regret on his face. I kinda wince at his words not wanting to repeat what he did but I smirk on how much guys are stupid. "You beat up Alex pretty bad." I'm dying of laughter inside. "He was awake when they found you guys and he said he didn't wanna be 'anywhere' near you." I say repeating what I heard from the rest of the camp members. I see him smile then frown as if he remembered something sudden. "uh how's Holly?" He asks me. I thought they broke up? I frown "she's pissed, that's for sure." "At who?" He asks his expression showing fear. "At both of you....you pushed Holly in your rage." He looks at me with a blank expression. "great now she hates me." he says. I laugh a bit. "no she's pissed at Alex. one of the staff members told her that Alex wanted to see her and she just got pissed." I start snickering into my sweater sleeve. "when can I get out of this room?" He asks looking around the room. "Soon but if you leave now just don't blame me if the staff yell at you." I watch him get up off the bed and hold back a wince of pain. I then laugh remembering what Alex did. "I forgot to tell you that Alex punched you in your frenzy. I saw it myself." I say dying of laughter as he walks out. I try to inch myself to the bed but my knee is in to much pain to move. So I just sit in my chair grabbing my bag and looking at pictures of my old life. 'my father would have been happy if me, Lynx and our mother was there to make him happy.' I say to myself smiling. I look outside the window and see that it's almost night. I look around trying to find the nurse but she seems to be doing something. "Nurse." I call out but no one answers. I look at the door and see Forrest there with a bag and a blanket. I smile at him. "The nurse told me to get you this." he says putting the bag on the bed and handing me the blanket. I look up at him. "Dylan I'm sorry I got so mad at you. Jacob was just being a jerk." I smile and move my hand to his. but to my surprise he bends down and kisses me. I close my eyes taking in the moment. Guys can be stupid but not this one!
