Chapter 23

I wake up and see someone looking down at me. "Merry Christmas Dylan!" Alex says kissing me on the cheek. I blush and push him away. "Merry Christmas to you too!" I reply hugging him. We pull away and he walks out saying that we should meet at the campfire later. I change into my Nirvana shirt, put my skull sweater on a pair of my ripped jeans and walk out of the cabin. (grabbing my bag at the door of course.) I walk to the activities centre and buy Alex a snow globe with reindeers in it. I sit down on one of the logs and take out my sketch book and draw a picture to go along with the snow globe. I see Forrest sit next to me. "so have you opened the gift I gave you?" He asks looking at his hands. "no but I guess I should." I reply getting up and walking to the cabin. I sit on the floor next to my dresser and take out the small red box. I open it and gasp. Forrest got me a necklace with the letters 'DXF'. I smile and put it in my bag. I walk to the campfire and see Alex there with a gift. he spots me and walks up to me handing me the box. "merry christmas." he says again as I open the gift. I smile wide. "you got me a leather jacket with a skull and cross-bones!" I say kinda fangirling. "oh it's nothing." he says smiling noticing something behind me. before I get a chance to see what it is. Alex pushes me against a tree and starts full out making out with me. I then feel someone pushing me away. "Alex get the hell away from my sister!" I hear Lynx yell and stand in front of me. I try walking out of his reach but he just pushes me against the tree. I then see Alex smirk. "I knew this would make you crack Lynx!" Alex says. "I just needed to target the one you loved the most!" He finishes and walks away. I stand there shocked. "he only did that to get you mad." I say looking at Lynx with sadness in my voice. "he hurt you to many times. he says hugging me and I smile. "merry Christmas Lynx!"
