Chapter 14 The break

I stay on the bench outside of the cafe looking at the pictures in my journal. I see a small picture sticking out of the front page. I wonder how I looked so happy in the pictures but now I'm so sad and aggravated at the camp. I look up and see Jacob walking up to me. Why him now? I think to myself. "Sup Dylan." he says sitting next to me. I don't reply. "Dylan come on can't you take a joke?" He says smiling. "JACOB LEAVE!" I yell looking at him. he looks at me with a blank expression. He then leans in and kisses me. I don't move because if I do he'll continue. he pulls away and I look at him. "I know what your sister did to Lynx." I say but as soon as he was gonna reply Forrest comes in. "Dylan! Another kiss. two times I get it but a third, it's like you don't even like me anymore!" My eyes fill with tears. "F-Forrest I really do like you. it's Jacob he's the one that keeps kissing me. Please Forrest." I say looking him in the eye, tears rushing down my face. "You know what Dylan I don't know if I can believe you on this one. We're done!" He says sternly. I look at Jacob then back at Forrest. "I hate my life!" I yell grabbing my bag and running to the campfire. I sit on a log not caring about anything but Forrest. "Dylan what happened?" I hear Lynx's voice. he sits beside me trying to comfort me. "Jacob is such a jerk. Forrest just broke up with me because of him." Lynx looks at me then his eyes fill with anger. "Alex is trying to ruin camp for all of us!" He says. I ignore him and look down at my feet shivering in the cold. "Dylan I promise that Jacob will regret this." I smile at Lynx's words and hug him. "I'm glad your my brother. I would never want someone else as my brother!" I say smiling. "and I couldn't ask for a better sister!" He replies.
