Chapter 12 The fight

I sit in my bed trying to finish the drawing I have of my griffin. I put my book away and look at the wall clock.5:59. I change out if my pjs and into a tee with a pug on it and another of my ripped jeans. I grab my sweater put it on and walk out of the girls cabin with my bag dragging on the ground. I get to the camp fire and see Alex and Jacob sitting there talking about something, I guess it's me. I walk by their log and Jacob grabs my hand. I kick his shin and her him wince and smile. I walk to the docks and look at the water and smile about how well my life is going right now. I sit on the path and take my sketch book and start drawing the scene. "Hey Dylan." I hear Forrest's voice and smile. he sits next to me looking at me. I look at him brushing my hair away from my face but it just falls back. I look into Forrest's eyes and blush. I go back to my drawing and feel Forrest's arm on my shoulders. I feel hot with embarrassment. I put my book away and look out into the distance And hear footsteps behind us "aww look at the cute couple!" I hear Alex's voice and freeze. I get up and try to look him in the eye but I'm to short. I look at him "I don't see any girlfriend with YOU Alex!" I say mockingly. "well I would have had a girlfriend but someone beat me to it." he replies smirking abit. "you know Jacob likes you a lot!" He says smiling. my hands turn into fists and I try to hit him but Forrest holds me back. "leave her alone Alex. she's been through more than u will ever go through." I blush at the sound of Forrest protecting me. Alex walks off looking pissed. Forrest let's go of me then I walk off to the stables to be alone for awhile. after my ride I go back to the campfire and see Jacob and Forrest looking at each other and yelling. "Forrest she will never like you and you know that." Jacob yells at Forrest. "Jacob she doesn't like you either so stop acting like the boss of camp!" Forrest yells back. I then see Jacobs hand turn into fists and he's about to punch Forrest. I jump in front of Jacob and take the hit. my are stings so much. so. much. pain....
