Finished packing Lydia and my suitcases sat next to the wall by the bed. Good byes were hard but they were coming.

Dressed in blue jeans and a white long sleeve shirt with my new boots and new leather jacket. Lydia wore a pair of blue Jean's with a pair of brown heeled boots a pink long sleeve with my original brown leather jacket.

We sat together looking at our suitcases trying to work up the courage for our goodbyes no one really knew besides Jace, Maia, and Luke who had told Maia.

A knock sounded from the door and I hurried to answer it blocking the suitcases with my back. At the door stood Izzy.

"Alec, is about to make an announcement." She announced as Lydia and I slide through the door being sure to block our suitcases.

We all walked together and stopped in the Hub seeing Alec standing upon the center stage. His arms firmly behind his back. He definitely looked like a leader. Jace had give his spot as Head to Alec.

"We've lost seven of our own," Alec announced when the crowd was full. "But we cant allow a single, radical Seelie to define the entire Down world, any more than we can allow Valentine to define all shadowhunters. So, to restore unity with our allies, I'll be hosting regular cabinet meeting here with the Down world leaders of New York."

"I'm all for unity. But does he have to bring them here?" A girl whispered next to us.

"What do you expect? He's dating a warlock." A man whispered back.

"Got a problem?" Lydia hissed tossing her strawberry blond hair over her shoulder.

"Just wait. In a week it'll be someone else." The man stated ignoring Lydia who looked as though she would smash him to pieces simply from her glare.

"Hey." Izzy called. "Show some respect."

"Let's make the Downworlders feel welcome." Alec finished his speech.

The group began to dismiss. Our small group formed a circle and Lydia looked between Jace and I with a look of annoyance.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You two keep twining." Lydia stated with an eye roll.

Jace and I looked to each other to see we were both infact wearing white long sleeve shirts. I pursed my lips in response and turned to Lydia again.

"Look at you." Jace said to Alec shaking off Lydia's words. "In charge for a week, and you're already shaking things up. Maybe this cabinet thing is a good idea."

"I'm not so sure everyone agrees." Alec stated looking around the room.

"All the more reason to do it." Clary said. "How can I help?"

Jace threw his arm over my shoulders pulling me into his side. Since we stated we were leaving Jace has been spending as much time with me as possible. That was five days ago.

"Actually I need you, Jace, and Adeline for a mission." Jace hadn't gone on any missions since I had told him I'd be leaving soon. Jace stiffened at his and my name being called. "You're going to the Seelie Court."

"Where is that?" Clary asked

"Wait me?" I asked just now registering hearing my name.

"The nearest entrance is in Central Park. But it's in another realm. Where the Seelie queen lives." Izzy answered Clary's question.

"I've requested an audience with her to discuss Kaelie's crimes. But she said she'll only meet with Valentine's experiments." Alec said, experiments?
