Warm |Ralsei x Reader

It was so damn cold.

You shivered as you walked through the rain.

Where was shelter?

Gripping your shoulders you stomped through puddles, making you even more wet, "Great."

A cloak was suddenly placed on your shoulders. "Huh?"

Ralsei walked next to you with a smile, "Sorry! You seemed like you were freezing." Water slipped from the brim of his hat.

"Yeah," you muttered, pulling the cloth tighter around your drenched body, "Thanks."

"No problem! Do you need a place to stay?"

"What does it look like?"

"Oh, well. I'll take that as a yes."

The room was definitely warmer than outside.

You played with a spoon on a counter as Ralsei pulled out a fully baked cake from a oven.

The delicious whiff reached you.

"Th..that actually smells good." you mumbled, putting down your utensil, and coming over to your friend's side.

He smiled, putting it onto the table, "Let's let it cool for a while."

You clung onto his borrowed coat, "Yeah sure."

There was a bit of an awkward silence, as you sat in front of each other.

You rested your head on your hand pretending not to care.

Ralsei stared at you, curiously, "Y/N..?"

"What?" you glared at him.

"Oh nothing.."

"WHAT?"

He looked alarmed, "Well, er- you just seem relaxed...more than usual..."

"Oh," you said, looking out at the window. Drops hit against the pane, steadily, "Thanks I guess."

"Y-yeah! Of course.."

You stared hard at the rain, before looking at your friend, "Hey Ralsei?"

"Yes?"

"Really...thanks for everything."

Honestly you expected him to get flustered, and embarrassed. Instead he smiled, and winked.

And, you blushed.
