Gravel crunched under your feet. It was a dark hallway. Water dripped from the ceiling.

Prince Lancer, the heir to the throne, wanted to see you again. Some of the other guards teased you about your constant visits with the future king. He was really just a goofy teenager.

You added a skip to your step, making your armor clatter. It echoed through the tunnel and you let out a embarrassed laugh.

"Oh, Y/N~!!"

You halted and straightened your spear. The voice was sickly sweet and was followed by hysteric laughing. Something ran past you causing you to whirl around. More laughter. Someone hit your backside. Your face heated.

"WHO'S THERE?"

You pointed your spear in all directions, "S-SHOW YOURSELF."

Several floating diamonds appeared and surrounded you.

"W-what is this?", you stammered.

They glowed with a piercing glare that nearly blinded you. Someone scurried past you again. A foot propped on your side and the tip of a blade touched your neck. You looked in the corner of your eye. A jester clung to your waist. He gave a toothy grin.

"Hello!"

"Let me GO", you said.

"Hehehe...I can't do THAT....", he cooed and his breath tickled your neck. You swiveled a fist. He caught your wrist with a clawed hand.

"Ah-ah-ah! Careful. If one of my gems hits you it's instant death." The hovering rhinestones were closer than ever and they swiveled around the both of you. He turned you around to face him. He had yellow slits for eyes. His lower body still clung to you.

"Exciting isn't it?" A gem nearly grazed your shoulder. You wrapped your arm around him and rested your chin on his shoulder. He laughed, "No choice, huh?"

"Who are you?", you asked.

"Jevil! Chaos is my friend." He flicked one of the gems, "And you are Y/N." His smile faltered. He grabbed the diamond and crushed it into pieces.

"Stop seeing prince." All the amusement in his voice was gone. You couldn't speak. His nails dug into your skin, "Do you hear me?"

You yelped and gave a quick nod, "I-I won't!"

The demon smiled again and pecked your lips.

"There. That wasn't so hard was, now was it?"
