Trigger: Depression

You had said bye to everyone.
They acknowledged of course, carelessly not realizing this was the last time they'll be seeing you.
Both of your feet were on the ledge.
The building drop was deadly.
A gentle wind touched your clothes, as if a whisper.
Don't do it.
You let yourself fall.
Butterflies ate your insides, ripping you apart. The breeze was so strong you couldn't move your eyelids to blink.
Tears escape. Nothing seemed clear.
A hand grabbed your waist.
Kris.
Even in mid-air he seemed calm. His other hand swiftly pulled out his sword.
You could feel the ground coming near. Kris slammed his blade into the building.
SCRATCHHHHH.
It was a loud, ear-splitting sound. You squeezed your eyes shut.
Both of you slowly eased down the side, like it was an elevator.
There was an abrupt stop, but his grip didn't loosen.
You were a few feet off the ground.
Kris jumped with you in one arm, pulling his sword out as well.
You heard the loud crunch of gravel, and felt your body shake as he landed on the ground.
It was quiet.
There was only the faint sound of a siren. You tried to realize what just happened.
It was so unreal.
Kris moved his hand slowly, and gently held your tear-stained face. A few drops fell on his knuckles.
"Are you okay?"
No answer at first.
"How did you know?" you gulped, weakly.
He stared blankly, "...Something seemed off when you were leaving. Like a bad presence. I went over to ask, and then I saw."
Your hands clenched, and eyes burned.
"You didn't have to save me."
"But I did."
He then leaned forward, and kissed you.
