Susie had swallowed the chalk.

With one gulp it had went down your classmate's throat. Originally your plan was to help her look for the white piece, but it looks like there's been a change. You stood behind, with a shaky breath.

She hadn't noticed you, and you were slowly trying to move away. If she spotted you-

Susie turned around with a grin when it faded. Her eyes locked with yours.

"Y/N."

You gave a nervous laugh, "Hi Susie!"

She slowly stocked over, "Hey...you didn't happen to see anything, did you?"

You backed away, "Oh-no! ME? Never!"

"Huh.."

You bumped into the lockers behind as she towered over, "Y/N...."

"...let me tell you a little something..."

"...quiet people piss me off...."

"-BUT NOT AS MUCH AS LOUD PEOPLE." She grabbed your collar, and slammed you into a wall.

You trembled under her grip, "Please...let me go.."

A red glint came to her eye, "What'd you say?"

"I...I..."

Someone suddenly punched her in the face.

She released in surprise, and backed away gripping her now bleeding nose. You fell to the floor, and looked over at her attacker, with wide eyes-

"Kris!"

His wrists were clenched, "Y/N run."

Susie tried to make a grab for you, but you sprinted forward. Kris grabbed your wrist, and took off making you go faster.

Your heart was beating, as he pulled you past several corners.

This human had just punched the school bully.

She is twice his size!

Passing a few more lockers Kris finally pulled you into a empty classroom.

Quickly closing the door behind both of you breathed heavily.

Your hands pressed against the barrier as you laughed through heaves of air, "Tha...that was a close one. Are...are you ok?"

Kris nodded.

You sighed in relief, "T..That's good. T..thanks a lot... I don't know what would of happened if you hadn't...c..come to save me."

There was silence.

He suddenly held one of your hands.

You blushed, and stared at him.

He looked back, "I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise."

You grinned embarrassed, "Wow...thanks.."

He smiled slightly, "No problem."
