Chapter 11

Alright. So I'm back to writing again. Sorry AGAIN for the hiatus. I've just been busy. Times like this is where I take breaks, and to be honest, I take too many, but still. Hope you guys enjoy the chapter!

3rd-person POV
The young men looked at (y/n), relieved that she was still alive. Kershner, now frustrated, grinds his teeth. "We will see about that..." He says angrily as he quickly turns to try to attack (y/n), while Mikhail went to attack the other two Jaegers.

Then, all of a sudden...

BANG

A gunshot rang out, and a slow, ominous boom rang. Before anyone had time to do anything and, they all stopped. All movement ceased, and all that was happening was listening. Listening to the commotion outside.

~ oOo TrAnSiTiOn ~

~ Also, Outside the Manor ~

Outside, Professor Willard acquired the help of Iba, who brought along with him, the military. They surrounded the area, tanks also nearby, and everyone readied for their command.

Iba turned to Willard for confirmation, and Willard nodded.

The group looked ahead at the vampiric monsters, and, with a straight face, Iba set the plan in motion. "Fire." The guns went off, each aiming for a monster as the rain of bullets overpowered the monsters.

Tanks fired at the resident walls as they came crumbling down. "Keep on firing!" A commander said. "Don't give them a chance to counter attack!" He continued as the fire didn't cease.

~ Inside with Dorothea and Fallon ~

   The two were still backed by the staircase, basically fending for themselves. But, as they were about to kill the remaining few of the monsters, the creatures retreated.

   Both were a bit confused. "Uh... what happened?" Fallon asked, turning to Dorothea for answers. "I'd say our luck just turned around." She said as she jumped off the staircase, leaving Fallon to follow her still with little grasp of the situation.

~ Back to Staircase, 2 Vampires vs 3 Jaegers ~

   The group was still listening in on what was happening outside of the residence, and Kershner quickly caught on. "It seems that the army has arrived..." Kershner said, almost unimpressed.

   "Even our marvelous brethren might not be able to hold out for long..." Mikhail added. Though, Kershner scoffed at this comment. "It shouldn't be a threat." He said, smirking. (y/n) noticed the ominous smile on the vampire's face.

   Before she would do anything, Kershner quickly grabbed her wrists with one hand, pushed them up, away from his neck, turned to face the Jaeger, and grabbed her by the throat with the other hand, making the Jaeger drop her weapons.

"Agk- huk-" The girl choked, making sharp inhales as she grabbed the vampires wrists as hard as she could.

   Yuliy gasped in fear. "(y/n)!!!" He cried. He saw her wound at the back of her neck, and can see the blood dripping from Kershner's tight grip. "Let Her GO!!!" Yuliy yelled, trying to attack Kershner, but was kicked by Mikhail with so much force that he was propelled towards the wall behind him.

   Kershner smirked again, and turned towards the railing, facing the wall, and threw (y/n) against the wall adjacent to Yuliy. A loud, almost bone crushing thud was heard as she collided with the wall, and then collapsed onto the stairs beside Mikhail.

   (y/n)'s blood splattered across the wall, and when she fell, one of her ribs broke, and punctured her lung, also causing her to cough up blood.
