Chapter 2

3rd-person POV
"(y-y/n)?!?! B-but how?!" Yuliy yelled in confusion as the girl in front of him had a weak and sad smile. "Same way as you did. I lived." She replied as he looked at her, looking like he was on the verge of tears.

   He ran, and tackled her in a hug, nearly making the girl topple over because of his height. "I-I thought I-I would n-never see you again..." His voice cracked as she hugged him back.

~ 3 years later ~

3rd-person POV
   That was 3 years ago when Yuliy and (y/n) reunited after so many years as a result of Dogville nearly getting destroyed and burned down. It was very emotional for Yuliy, who thought he was the last of his kind. He felt alone.

   (y/n) reminisced about the reunion, and what was usually a blank expression, was replaced with a small smile plastered on her face.

   She, along with Yuliy, were walking down the streets of Shanghai again, hearing the news that there was going to be a vampire meeting nearby, and Dorothea would be driving them there.

   While they were walking, Yuliy took a glance at (y/n), saw her smiling, and as a result, decided to tease her. "(y/n). Why are you smiling?" He asked as the girl snapped back to reality.

   "Nothing..." She mumbled as she tried to cover her mouth and continued to look forward, blushing all the while. "Don't try to hide it (y/n). I already saw you smile, you might as well tell me why you did." He continued to tease as the girl sigh in defeat.

   "I was just thinking back to when I first joined the jaegers... And when you tackled me." She said as they laughed. When the laughing died down, Yuliy smiled and had the faintest blush on his cheeks.

   "I remember that. It shocked the others a bit since I don't normally hug people." Yuliy said as she chuckled. "Lucky me I guess." She joked as they continued walking down the sidewalk, and stopped at a curve when a car drove up to them.

   They saw Willard as the older man smiled at them. "It's time." He said as the two nodded. Dorothea peaked out of the window of the driver's seat, and smiled at them. "Let's make a grand opening, shall we?" She asked as Yuliy looked at her.

   "Shouldn't we go unnoticed? (y/n) thinks so." He stated, smiling. "Yuliy..." (y/n) detested, but sighed. "I do though." (y/n) agreed as Yuliy smiled at her. "I think it's a bit too late for that." Dorothea said as the two teens looked at each other.

"Fine, what ever you say." The girl said sarcastically as Yuliy shook his head, chuckling.

~ Timeskip ~

   The group walked down a hallway, listening to their own talking. "Man, they totally ripped me off." Fallon ranted as Phillip looked at him. "You better invite me next time you start a fight, I don't wanna miss out." Phillip said.

   "Don't worry loser we won't." (y/n) joked with a blank face as Fallon laughed. "You're the one that's the loser!" Phillip retaliated, making Yuliy crack a smile as Dorothea shook her head.

"Heaven's sake..." She muttered as the group stopped at a set of stairs.

   "Let's go." Willard said as they headed out.

~ Short Timeskip ~

3rd-person POV
   All six were perched on the roof, scouting where to strike. "A party full of rich girls huh?" Phillip remarked as they looked at the building. "Well start fantasizing now. You won't be seeing one anytime soon." (y/n) remarks.

Fallon laughed as Dorothea lightly slapped the back of the girls head. "Shhh!" She said as the Sirius looked at her. "Your shushing is louder than my joking." (y/n) talked back as the woman rolled her eyes.
