Valentine's Day Special | A Bouquet of Roses

OooOooOoo!~ A special chapter!~ Haven't written these in a bit. Idk I got neutral feelings about Valentine's Day, but let's let these Sirius children have their fun. I hope you all enjoy!

3rd-person POV
   Today was the day. The day where couples could let their love flourish, and those alone who could let themselves wonder. Yuliy was aware of this day, and never really had an interest of celebrating the holiday.

   But since he reunited with (y/n), he felt like he could do it this once. Yuliy was walking down the cities of Japan, and found a nice flower shop. He entered, and heard the chime of the bell.

   "Hello! Welcome to our flower shop! What could I get for you?" The young woman behind the counter asked enthusiastically. "Um... I just want a nice bouquet of flowers... for a f-friend..." Yuliy said as he stuttered.

   "How sweet." The girl said as she went to look for a bouquet in the beautiful selection that they had. "Is it for someone, I don't know... special?" She asked as Yuliy looked off to the side. "Y-Yeah..." He said nervously.

   The woman found a beautiful bouquet, consisting of roses and baby's breath flowers. "Good luck." She smiled as she handed Yuliy the flowers in a tote bag. Yuliy responded with a nod, and paid her.

   Yuliy proceeded to walk back to the Naoe residence, holding the bag in his left hand as he stuck the other hand in his pocket. He took the bouquet out, and examined it as he walked. "They grow really nice flowers..." Yuliy mumbled.

~ Short Timeskip ~

   It wasn't long before Yuliy made it back to the Naoe residence. He entered the door, and saw Ryoko. "Y-Yuliy?! W-what are yo-" She stopped as she noticed the bouquet in the bag Yuliy held. "Why did you buy, flowers?" She asked.

   'Was it for Valentine's Day? Is it for me?' She thought hopefully as she tried her hardest to hide her smile. "It's for (y/n)." He said, completely destroying her hope. "O-oh, o-Okay..." She said, nervously.

   "W-well, u-uh... G-good luck..." She said as she watched him walk up the stairs. Ryoko clenched her fists. "What does she have... that I don't?..." She angrily mumbled.

Yuliy's POV
I held the straps of the bag tightly as I walked up the stairs. Hearing footsteps approaching down the stairs, I didn't think anything about it... that was until I saw who was walking down the stairs I was walking up on.

"Phillip?" I asked as the blond turned around. I quickly put the bag over my shoulder, but saw that Phillip held...

"Chocolates?" I asked him as he blushed and hid them behind his back. "N-none of your business!" He s reaches as I looked at him.

"... Are they for (y/n)?" I asked him as he looked at the floor. "... maybe..." He mumbled as I smirked. Phillip looked back up. "Why do you have a tote bag?" He asked suspiciously. "Dorothea asked me to grab some books for her while I was out." I lied.

It brought his guard down for a bit as I saw the tension in his eyes dull. "Well, if you're lookin for (y/n), she's in the garden somewhere." I lied again, and yet Phillip fell for it, nodding and running off.

I laugh quietly as I headed to our room.

~ Timeskip ~

(y/n)'s POV
I was in the room where all the jaegers would occasionally meet, staring out the window at the bright and lively city nearby. I sighed. "Why on this day do I have to feel so... alone..." I said to myself until I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in." I called as the door opened, revealing Yuliy with one of his arms behind his back. I raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "What are you hiding?..." I asked slowly as Yuliy closed the door.
