Alice Gunjo (Kuroko no Basket)

No More

Alice's vacations had finished in the blink of an eye and before she knew it, school had begun again and remebering that the third years from last year, graduated already made her a little excited for future games.

'I should visit the gym...' Alice thought as she walked camly to her destination, but that soon fell apart when she bumbed into Momoi.

"Momoi! How have you been-?" Alice excitedly said as she met one of her few friends at school, but Momoi cut her of short from saying so.

"Coach Shirogane collapsed this morning!"

"What!?" Alice said quickly changing into a serious mood in the blink of an eye.

"I cant tell you the details but im going to get Akashi-kun and Kuroko-kun, i saw then at the gym..." Momoi said as she began to speak but was cut off by Alice.

"Which hospital is he on Momoi!?"

Momoi looked at the white haired girl with shock, she sounded so demanding.

"At the Kanegawa Hospital, but it's school time still and you can't leave-" Momoi was about to argue but even before she finished her words Alice had turned sharply on her heels and left running as fast as she could towards the hospital. "GUNJO-SAN!"

She ignored the yell from the girl and left the school immediately.

The pinknett quickly ran to the gym and warned the two males inside about what just happened.

"Coach Shirogane just collapsed and Gunjo-san left school...!"

The room was silent and the smell of hospital made Gunjo's face scrunch up in disgust.

"What are you doing here, again, Gunjo?" The voice of the older man made Alice look up at the head coach who was laying on one of the many hospital beds with some hospital equipment on his hands and face.

"To see with my own eyes that you haven't hit the bucket, old man. That's what I'm doing here right now." Alice replied back with a scowl on her face.

"It's still school time you know that right?" Shirogane said with an amused face as he watched the girl grumble something under her breath. "You'll get in trouble."

"Who gives two flying fucks about school right now? I only know that you could of died old man." Gunjo snapped and the man chuckled.

"No respect?"

"Tch, its not that, im just a little pissed off that my third year isnt starting the way i thought it would." Alice confessed as she stretched her legs in front of her.

"Is that so? Well, i have a bit of more bad news for you then Alice." The man's kind smile vanished just like that and a far too serious face showed on his gentle face. "I will not be going back as the head coach anymore. This illness... I've had it for a while now and it wasnt serious until now... From now on it's just plane Shirogane, no more Head Coach-"

"Dont fuck with me!" Alice stood up abrubtly shutting the older man quickly. "You'll still be my coach no matter what, so dont be saying stupid shit like that you old fart!" Alice continued with anger clearly showing on her face, but a bit of sadness covered her anger more than anything.

"Why are you seriously doing here Gunjo?" Shirogane asked again as he soften his eyes when the tall girl sat down again and looked at her feet.

"... To hope you spend our last year of middle school together with none of this almost-dying bullshit... I've already lost too many for something stupid like this..." Alice said as she looked at the man with unreadable eyes. "You should know what i mean."
