Chapter 5: Hanna's Practice (Part 2)

Tuesday

Alice had woken up early and began doing her morning rutine, which was to go to the court with Hanna, or just go there and meet up with the girl, then said girl would yell out instructions on what Alice should do to make her legs and/or arms better which was very painful for her.

Today was one of thoes days were she walked alone to the courts, which Alice didnt mind as she couldnt help but drift off into thinking about yesterdays game as she walked to her destination.

"Yesterdays game was horrible... well, not that bad. She kept on not bouncing the ball right and getting it knocked out of her hands. Oh thank you for that Sugar really, you did awesome." Alice could hear Hanna's voice drift in the wind and settle in her ears.

'Damm she had this all planned out, but at least now i have an idea in what i should practice more... They were really good...' Alice thought as she closed in on the court with her black and white bag that contained towls, water and snacks.

"She was really good at conducting and being a leader but she needed to be a little more cautious about her suroundings and passes. I think i saw a fire lit up on her eyes when we were playing together." Sugar's voice came in a sweet voice making Alice a little more calm about what they would tell her.

'Tomorrow, on Tuesday, we will have the girls join us again and they will tell you what you need to work on and they will all help out on that problem alright?' Alice remembered Hanna's voice when she warned her about what will happen the next day.

"Yo!" Alice yelled as she entered the court and greeted all ten girls.

"Alice/Gunjo/Leader welcome!" All girls greeted her as she placed the bag down on the floor and walked up the group that was in the middle of the court chatting.

"So, Hanna today is...?" Pirate asked as she picked up her bangs with bobby pins.

"Today is Wednesday which means we will train on fakes, passing, eye vision and strategies. So i will need all of you to please tell her what Alice did wrong yesterday." Hanna explained as she took out her clipboard to take notes she might have missed.

"Alright, Gunjo you sucked at making passes to your teammates. You either passed it to weak or you passed it at the wrong time. Just keep in mind that if i look free you should rethink that and watch my opponent closely too." Arashi was the first to comment on Alice lack of basketball.

Alice nodded her head in understandment and signaled for the rest of the girls to keep talking.

"Well you instructed your team very well Leader but you just need to be more aware of your surroundings and just like Arashi said you need to work on marking all of your opponents not just the one in front of you." Alice turned to face Luka who had light pink hair that looked white on the sun. Her violet eyes looking at Alice with excitement as she leaned on one of her legs making her look smaller than she really is.

"Work on not getting under pressure Alice. You seemed confident at first but then you looked a little uncertain when i began to mark you. You began to take in the pressure i gave you and that blinded you." Sugar didnt waste a second to inform Alice of her errors. She turned to see her and this time she was wearing her usual light make up making her look like a model.

"It was hard but you have good defense strategies Sugar." Alice replied as she turned to face Ren who was harsh when she criticized. Her small build was a little bit taller than Shorty and was a little less active than her too.

"You suck a lot and it hurt to see it Gunjo. All in all you did lead your team in a right path but you need to work on your passes and fakes, they were too easy to read and because of that we won. Also work on being a little more attentive of your suroundings." Alice nodded her head as she watched Ren twirl her elbow long hair in her fingers, her blond bangs covering her forehead and a bit of her aqua blue eyes.

"You player very good Leader you just need to be less worried about how good you play and just play the game. Mix in some of your old sports in the game too it will help you a lot." Ren's twin sister, Rina, took the chance to speak to Alice about her problem.

"I was planning on doing that but i just didnt think i was ready yet." Alice said as she turned to face Rina who looked exactly like Ren except she had a kind expression instead of a serious one. No one would think she was a delinquent but she was nonetheless like everyone else in the court.

"I believe everyone else thinks the same right?" a soft but terrifying voice cut through Rina's innocent voice as everyone turned to face Akiri whose aqua green sharp eyes looked at everyone then at Alice, her aqua blue hair shining brightly with the aid of the sun.

"You need to work on dunks. You had many chances to score but you didnt because you probably didnt know how to use your jumping power like you did in volleyball you idiot." Alice looked at Akari's sharp cold eyes as she turn to look at her in understatement, beside her Hikari sood there tying her light almost grey short hair that reached exactly her shoulder blades. Her pale purple eyes were staring intensly at Alice who seemed to be prepared to listen to the girls blunt statements.

"Well, you should work on fakes, making your eye vision more broader, having back-up plans, having more jumping power, pass better, make alley ups, hook shoots and more stamina because of that anyone could hear you where ever you went." Hikari said as she walked up to Alice and tilted her head a little to see Alice eyes which weren't that far, she was 169 cm tall.

"Got it, and well i already heard Pirates complains and from Hanna too, so today i will try harder since all of you encouraged and inspired me to try my hardest. Take care of me ya guys!" Alice adviced as she took off her thin sweater to reveal a sleeveless shirt under it. She turned to grab her basketball and began to bounce it, passing it from hand to hand.

"Lets begin todays practice shall we?"

'Ring! Ring! Ring!' the sound of a phone going off was the only sound being made inside of Alice's bedroom. The suns rays were the only thing keeping the tidy room visible, it was a great way to start a Friday except...

"SH** I forgot about school! And Hanna!" Alice yelled as she changed into her usual uniform with tight shorts under the skirt. She quickly stuffed her feet into her white and black Jordans and grabbed some money from her counter and stuffed it into her school bag as she took off running to her school.

"You came late." Hanna warned as she saw the girl come into the room panting lightly.

"I'm not that late, you make it seem like i missed half of school." Alice replied as she got into her seat and took out some papers out of her bag to "study".

"Its 12 already you idiot." Hanna replied as the next teacher came in and began to write down notes.

"Well i'll come in early on Monday alright?" Alice asked as Hanna began to take notes.

"Sure."
