Fluff. Kinda love.
U may imagine your own accident / disaster.

Grays PoV

Her eyes slowly open, as she stirs. I'd been sitting there for hours, waiting for this moment. She's awake.
Weightely her lids part, and a small tear slips from her left eye, as I sit on her left side.
Her limp right hand crosses over her body, as I hear her hyperventilate and the machines beeping more frantically, as my girlfriend attempts to fumble with the needle in her right arm.

"Don't mess with your IV" I softly say, and place my hand on top of hers, and guide it away from the drip in her arms.

She turns her head to look at me and she bursts out crying, and I lean over, hugging her.
"Sh it's ok, get everything out" I say, and motion for her to move over to the left side of the bed, as I walk around and get onto the hospital bed on the right. My muscly arm goes above her head, and I run my hand through her beautiful, but now tangled hair. The nurses hadn't of brushed it. She'll be upset, I asked them to, knowing she loves the feeling of it.

Her neck turns and she looks up at me.
"Is it big? The gash?" She limply and merely speaks. I look at the stitched up cut on her head, that was previously centimetres thick.
"It's just a scratch" I smile, and gently run my middle finger along her temple.
I reminisce on the evening. Although not my fault, I will always carry the burden on my back.

"I'm so sorry y/n" I cry gently, hugging her.
„Hey accidents happen" she says, as she weakly cracks a smile. Her smile, although limp, makes me happy. I hadn't seen her smile in what felt forever. But I see the pain and fear and shock in her gorgeous deep eyes.

I pull her close, careful and aware of the IV in her arm. I kiss her head, and soak in the moment. Luck and love overwhelm me.
"Thank god you're alright" I whisper
"I wasn't going anywhere" she whispers back.
