I'm so sorry for this sad Quiglet, but I read something by another asoue writer (I can't remember their user) but I got inspiration! Also this is a little long because I kept wanting to include more things.

He had been resting in a hospital bed, a hospital bed at a good hospital at least. A violet coloured commonplace notebook set out in the miniature table that came attached to his bed. When he glanced out the window he could tell it was mid-afternoon, that she'd be there soon. That Violet would be there soon. He wouldn't have to be all alone in the quiet and bland room. If he could he'd probably leave the room. But the doctors assured him that staying in the hospital was the smart choice. After all he still needed to make the choice of what he wanted to do with his life. Get chemotherapy, maybe surgery, or just live with osteosarcoma for the rest of what would be a undeniable short life. He had just felt like he couldn't do that to Violet, making her see him in pain but more joyful outside the hospital. Of course if surgery or chemo went well he could live a longer life, leave the hospital eventually, marry violet.

He waited patiently the rest of the afternoon, it had been around 5:30pm when she arrived to his room. Greeting him with a soft smile and a kiss that shared the same soft quality but was full of love. After all the pair had to act very mature at such a tender age of twenty five. He scooted over in his bed, making sure all the cords attached to him moved with him so that Violet could sit down. And she did, he cuddled close to her. The pain in his bones was worse then if he'd been earlier but he brushed it aside for now, Violet was here after all and it was just to talk and be a couple.

"I'm sorry I was late, my boss was being a dick today" Violet said looking up at his hazel coloured eyes. She had a great boss but she kept her late, the one day she would be at the hospital and there'd be no minor surgery or no more talk from doctors about all the outcomes for everything. No doctors pulling her aside to talk. Just her and her love getting the chance to talk and try to be normal. "I'm sure she was not trying to be a dick on purpose" He said, a love filled look in his eyes that started the moment she entered the room.

"Anyways, how was your day? Feeling any better?" Violet asked, still using a soft, kind tone "have you decided what to do yet?" She asked after a moment. Her tone was more serious theme it had been for the previous questions. This one could affect his life greatly and should be treated seriously. He rested his arm around her, looking down ever so slightly to meet her eyes. "My day was boring as always love, and I'm not feeling the best" He answered the first two questions, the third question he did have an answer to. He just hadn't been sure if it was the right one.

"If you ever do get to leave I promise we will do something fun, something you've always wanted to do" Violet said, snuggling up closer to him. She knew that he wanted to travel the world, see every destination he could. Violet also knew if it was safe enough she'd let him travel. Go to every place he could, no matter if that was one place or one thousand places. She also knew she'd go with him, there was no doubt in that. He nodded happily, but Violet saw the tired look in his eyes. She nodded back and closed her eyes, hoping if he noticed her go to sleep he would as well. Surely enough it worked. Both of them had fallen asleep.

The rest of the night seemed like a blur. Violet had awoken to a loud sound of his heart monitor. She hadn't known what had been going after that point, she was pushed aside as nurses and doctors ran in and began attending to her love. Who still looked like he was fast asleep, enjoying the peace. Violet was made sign a form as doctors rushed him off to what she was sure was a surgery. It had been five o'clock the next morning when violet had called into work, stating that'd she be taking the day off. He had been in surgery for what felt like a decade. It had only been for four hours however, as Violet was informed that as of 6:19 am, her love, Quigley Quagmire was gone.

Dead, to be more specific.
