Jonasan POV
After the First Wave Kingy decided to trow a party. It took Raphtalia begging me for an hour before I finally caved, even though I knew the Hell that would await me. When we walk through the gates, Sl... sorry Myne whispered something to Motoyasu. Already I was getting a bad feeling, about half an hour in. IT happened. Motoyasu walked up and threw his glove at my feet. I look down at it then back up at him.
"I'm not picking that up if that's what you want." I tell him. His mouth drops open.
"I'm challenging you!" He sputters angrily.
"Oh, I see. In which case, No." I reply calmly, as I know what's about to happen.
"Shield Hero! By order of the King you must accept the Spear hero's challenge or else it will be seen as an automatic win for the Spear hero!" A guard declares.
'Damn it, I knew it was coming, but STILL!' I think to my self.
"Fine" I say exasperatedly, "But, NO ONE else is to me inside the arena. Or else I with use Dark Protector." Motoyasu grimaces, he must have forgotten that I wielded something that strong.
"DEAL!" He exclaims quickly.
~Time skip to arena~
As I entered the arena I saw Myne inside the arena.
"Hey Yasu!" I yell to him.
"What?" He questioned inquisitively.
"You said only us TWO would be in the arena, right?" I confirmed.
"Yeah?" He asked questioningly.
"Then why is Myne here? Don't tell me the great Spear Hero is a liar?" I say, I spit out his title out otherwise my voice is dripping with a sickly sweet tone. Motoyasu looks up surprised at Myne.
"Myne? Why aren't you up with everybody else?" He asked her.
"Because I wanted to make sure he *points at me* doesn't cheat." She bull shitted.
'Yeah, I'm calling bullshit.' I think to myself.
"I trust him." Motoyasu said, "No matter how much of a douche bag he is, he's never lied."
'Gee, thanks buddy.' I think to myself.
"If your sure Sir Motoyasu..." She says trailing off, before walking up to the balcony.
As soon as the matched started I used my shield of striking:

"Meteor Spear!" I hear Motoyasu yell. I smirk.
"Just give up now and save your self the embarrassment!" He yelled at me.
"Hmmmm, how about... Terror Shield!!!" I equip my terror shield:

Motoyasu screams like a girl as my shield gives him the status effect of "Unlimited Terror" which make him afraid of me when I use this shield. He still attacks me, with "Meteor Strike". I block and Erza punch him.

He keels over before getting back up. I switched to my "Heaven's Blade Shield"

"I got a holy sword and let my shield consume it..." I say. And equip my Forest Shield:
