The Bad Guy//~Why Don't We~

Part 29.

Lily's POV:

I sat at my dressing table and quickly pulled my hair dryer out of the drawer and plugged it in, I looked at my phone and realised I only had 20mins to get my makeup on and my hair dried. I looked behind me and out of the window to see what Jonah was doing but his curtains were drawn so that I couldn't see him. What the hell was he up too, actually I didn't want to know.

I surprising got ready really quickly and still managed to look good, I went downstairs and now my mom and Ben were sitting on the sofa. 

"Hey" I said sitting on the sofa with them

"Hi?" They both replied confused

"Where are you going?" My mom asked 

"Well Jonah told me he was going to pick me up at 8" I explained 

"Aw did he ask you to prom?" She asked

"No" I said looking at the ground 

"Oh I thought he would" she said 

"Yeah so did I" I sighed 

Then there was a knock at the door, I looked at my mom and she smiled at me. I stood up and walked towards the door. I opened it and Jonah was standing there with a bunch of flowers.

"Hey beautiful" He said 

"Hi" I said smiling 

"You look amazing" He said handing me the roses

"Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself" I said excepting the roses and taking them into the kitchen 

I got out a vase from the cupboard and filling it with water, I put the roses in it and left it on the side. I looked over at my mom and she looked so happy, she usually makes a comment when things like this happen between Jonah and I but she just sat there smiling, I smiled back. 

"Ok you ready ?" Jonah asked 

"Yeah, where are we going?" I asked 

"You'll see" He smiled taking my hand and leading me to his car

We got into his car and Jonah started driving, we ended up at the movie theatre and I was so confused, like why the hell did he bring me here and why did he tell me to dress nice?

I smiled at him anyway and he had a huge grin on his face. We got out of the car and Jonah and I walked hand in hand into the theatre, I expected us to go to the queues or something but Jonah just waved at some guy behind the counter and we walked through to the screens. 

When we walked in we were the only people in there and it didn't look like a film was going to play anytime soon. Jonah lead us to some seats in the middle of the room, we sat there for a while and Jonah and I were just talking for a while.

" I will be back in a second" Jonah said getting up and walking out of the room, leaving me there all alone and I was just sat there looking like a weirdo. I mean what was I supposed to do, I got out my phone and looked through Instagram and then all of a sudden the lights turned on above the stage. I was so confused and then all the boys walked out in suits. 

It was so cute and then they started singing, like hello why is this literally the cutest thing that has ever and THE BOYS CAN SING WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK...

They all stood there and sang (BTW they also sang invitation). I listened to the whole song and it was so good and so cute. When the were finished Jonah made me come up to the stage, I walked over to them and Jonah was smiling at me. I walked over to him smiling confused.

"Hi" I said awkwardly 

"Hey" He replied laughing 

"So I know today is the day when everyone asks someone to prom but I thought I would step it up a bit, not only do I want you to be my prom date but I want to be able to call you mine and I want you to do everything with me." Jonah smiled 

I stood there with a big smile on my face 

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Jonah asked

"Yes" I said a little too excited 

I grabbed Jonah's face and pulled him into a kiss, we heard a chorus of "Aws", we pulled away and looked at the boys. I laughed at them and we left the theatre. Jonah and I walked hand in hand to the car.

"So when were you planning on telling me you guys could sing?" I asked 

"Well we just told you didn't we" Corbyn laughed 

"Ok well... shut up" I said 

We all got into Jonah's car and Jonah drove us to a restaurant down the road. 

"So are you guys like in a band or something" I asked 

"Maybe" Jonah laughed 

"OH SHIT" I screamed 

We all got out of the car and walked into the restaurant, we sat down and had a really nice meal discussing everything that we are going to do in the summer and they actually agreed to let us go on a road trip. I was really excited and I knew that as soon as I got home I had to start planning to do. 

We finished the meal and the boys went in an uber back home and then Jonah drove us back to our houses, we got out of the cars and walked over to Jonah, he kissed me and I walked towards the house.

"Bye Girlfriend" He said smirking 

"Bye boyfriend" I said walking towards the house 

I couldn't actually believe that Jonah and I were actually dating like I don't think anyone understands how long I have been waiting for that. I walked into the house and my mom was sitting on the sofa with Buddy and Ben wasn't there anymore.

"Hey Mom" I said 

"Hey, you look happy" She said smiling

"Well I may have a boyfriend" I said smiling 

She screamed and got off of the sofa and ran over to me, she hugged me and was probably more excited than me. 

"This is the best" She said running to the kitchen and grabbing her phone 

She rang Carrie and so I decided to go up to my room, I put on some pjs and got ready for bed, I climbed in and texted Jonah for a while before falling asleep.
