The Roadtrip Pt8.

Lily's POV:

I walked down to the front of the hotel and saw Daniel waiting by the water fountain, he was on his phone and looked really nervous. I walked up to him and I honestly looked like such a tramp it was kinda embarrassing.

"Hey" I said walking up behind him

"Hi" he replied, he looked tense as if he had to say something but couldn't get it out 

"is everything ok?" I asked concerned

"well yes but I have something i've wanted to tell you for a while" He said 

"You know you can tell me anything right" I said 

"Yeah I know but this is different" He said 

"Well for the longest time now I've..." he was interrupted by all the boys walking out of the casino

Jonah was in front and looked like he was going to rip Daniel's head off 

"Daniel what the hell are you doing" Jonah spat 

"Well clearly mate I'm trying to talk to lily" He replied sarcastically 

"You better not say what I think you're saying" Jonah said 

"I was about to until you lot decided to storm out" Daniel replied 

"Guys, I don't know what is happening here but I don't think we should be yelling here" I said making them look around at everyone staring 

"Ok well lets take it upstairs then" Jonah scowled 

"No I think I will take Daniel back to our room and Lily you can take Jonah back" Corbyn said 

"Good idea" I said taking hold of Jonah's arm and walking him up to our room

We arrived back at our room and I sat down on the bed with Jonah, I had an idea about what Daniel was going to say because I knew what they talked about in the van the other day but I knew I had to pretend I had no idea.

I looked over at Jonah and he was just glaring out of the window, I sat behind him and rested my head on his shoulder.

"Jonah, what was that about?" I asked 

"Basically that prick told me that he has feelings for you and he was about to tell you" Jonah said clearly still annoyed 

"What?" I asked confused (But not actually confused because I already knew) "Is that why you've been so angry about us talking" I asked 

"Yeah, I just don't want you to move on and leave me for him" Jonah said putting his head in his hands

I looked at him and let out a small giggle 

"Why are you laughing?" Jonah asked looking up at me confused

"Because you're so stupid" I said laughing "You know I will never leave you for anyone" I said hugging him. " I don't know how many times I have to remind you Jonah that I love you and nobody is going to change that" 

He looked up with a smile and pulled me into a hug "I love you too" He said 

We layed in the bed together (Then you can just imagine what happened next because I ain't writing it for you)

Next Morning: 

We woke up to the boys knocking on our door

"Ugh" I groaned getting out of bed and quickly throwing some clothes on

Jonah also put some clothes on and then I opened the door 

"Hi" I said with a smile on my face 

"hey, we have to get breakfast or we are gonna die" they said 

"Jonah and Daniel are also gonna sort out their little issues" Corbyn said staring at Daniel 

Daniel just rolled his eyes and then looked at Corbyn with a sarcastic smile 

"Ok then we will meet you down there in a minute" I said looking down at my pjs

"Alright then" They said walking away 

I closed the door and turned to Jonah who was still laying in the bad 

"Ok we have to get ready" I said 

"Do I have to go" Jonah whined 

"Yes and you're gonna sort out your problems with Daniel" I said 

"What?" He said sounding shocked 

"Jonah you have to talk to him sometime, plus I told you that everything between us will stay the same no matter what happens" I said 

"Fine, but I'm only doing it because I love you" He said climbing out of bed and giving me a hug 

"I love you too" I said burying my head into his chest 

We stood there for about 5 mins and then decided to get ready and meet the boys down for breakfast. We approached the restaurant and Jonah held my hand as we got closer. We walked to the table and sat down. 

The tension between Daniel and Jonah was very much there, so the rest of the boys and I decided to just start talking and hopefully they would talk.

"So I can't believe we are actually going home after this" Corbyn said 

"Yeah I know, but it has been the best summer" I said 

"I mean before this year you were nerdy so didn't you just do homework all summer?" Zach asked

"I-... well yeah" I said 

"Then I'm glad we could make this the best summer" Jack said 

"I don't want you to go to New York" Jonah sighed

"I don't want to leave either but I know it will be fine" I said with a reassuring smile. "Wait where are you lot going to college" I asked 

They all looked at each other with weird smiles 

"Um well we are going to the LA music college" Jack said so casually 

I looked at them all for a few minutes without saying anything, they all stated looking at me confused.

"Hold on... what do you mean music" I said confused "You guys don't care about music that much do you?" I asked 

"Lily you know we all took music right?" Daniel asked 

"Yeah I know but I thought it was just a bit of fun" I said "plus you have never said to me ever that you're interested in music" I added

"well it was our secret" Jonah said 

"What are you gonna tell me that you're in a band" I laughed 

I looked up and realised that none of them were laughing too

"Oh god you are aren't you" I said 

They all looked at me and nodded 

"Alright then what's it called" I asked 

"Why don't we" Jonah said 

"Why don't we what?" I asked 

They all laughed at me and I looked at them all like they were mad 

"No that's the name of our band Why Don't We" Corbyn said 

"Oh shit, you gonna sing to me then" I asked 

"In the van maybe" Zach said 

"Oh shit we need to check out or imma be fined" I said 

We finished off our meal and we all headed back to our rooms and gathered our stuff together and met back at the front desk. I checked out of the hotel and we all went back into the van for the last time and Jonah drove us back home.

We got back home and the boys were staying at Jonah's because it was late and I said my goodbyes to them and walked into the house, I knew my mom would be asleep but I was greeted by buddy and I went straight up to bed because I was exhausted.
