The Finale

Lily's POV:

This summer had been the best summer of my life and I couldn't ask for better people to be around, but today was the day I had to go to college. I told everyone to come to my house and so my mom invited the Frantzich's over and the boys were coming.

I was really excited to leave but I was also really sad and a little nervous. I didn't want to leave them obviously but I knew NY was going to be so much fun .

I got out of bed and got dressed into a comfy outfit, I had to wear something comfortable because I was gonna be driving for a long time later. once I was ready I walked downstairs and my mom was sitting on the sofa playing with Buddy and Ben was here too, he is always here tho and I am surprised that mom has been in a relationship for so long.

"Morning honey" She said getting up and hugging me 

"Morning" I said walking into the kitchen to see a pile of pancakes on the counter 

"Ben made us breakfast" She said 

"Oh thanks Ben" I called to him from the kitchen

"No worries sweetheart" He called back 

I sat at the kitchen island eating my breakfast and my mom came and sat with me, she looked at me for a while and I smiled at her even tho I had a mouthful of pancakes.

"I can't believe you're leaving me" She sighed 

"I know, but you will be fine" I said 

"Yeah but will you?" She asked 

"Of course I will" I said 

"Jonah is going to miss you so much" She said 

"I know, I'm going to miss him too" I sighed 

"Well they're coming over at 12 and you're leaving at 2 so we can make this the best party ever" She said 

"I would hardly call it a party" I said laughing 

"Yeah it's your little leaving party" Mom said smiling 

I finished my breakfast and headed out to take Buddy on a walk, my mom came with me which is very unusual but I just assumed she wanted to spend as much time with me as she could before leaving.

We walked around the park and had a long discussion about how I was going to 'survive' at college. 

"Mom, I'm going to be fine" I said pulling her into a hug

"I know you are but I can't help but worry for you" Mom said tearing up 

"Mom do not cry in the middle of the park please" I said 

"Sorry" she said laughing 

We walked back to the house and mom set up some snacks and drinks and then the door bell rang and I answered it to Jonah standing there.

"Hey, you're early" I said 

"I know I realised that I don't want you to leave and so I have to spend every last second with you" He said pulling me into a hug

"Hey Jonah" My mom said realising he had arrived 

"Hi" He replied 

We sat in the living room just talking for a while and then everyone else started arriving. We all sat in the living room together and talked about the summer and we mainly just talked about memories and it made me kinda upset, but I didn't show it.

Seeing everyone together and talking about me made me not want to go to leave, even though I knew I would be fine I really didn't want to leave everyone behind, especially my mom and Jonah.

It finally became the time where I had to leave, I grabbed the last box of things and Jonah carried them to the car for me. We all stood outside by my car.

I walked over to Carrie and Tim first and hugged them

"Goodbye honey, have the best time" Carrie said 

"Thank you, make sure he's ok" I said looking at Jonah who made me tear up 

"we will" she chuckled 

I then moved on to Zach, he was standing there being all goofy making me start to cry 

"No don't cry" He said pulling me into a hug "You're gonna have so much fun, you won't miss me" he said 

"Yes I will" I said crying and hugging him

Then Corbyn 

"Hey bestie" he smiled and hugged me 

"I love ya" I said hugging him and crying 

And then Jack

I hugged him and he said the same as the other boys and I was going to miss them all so much, I was a mess I was very lucky I didn't wear mascara today.

I got to Daniel and he just pulled me into a hug, I put my head on his chest and cried

"Have the best time and I promise we will come and visit you" Daniel said 

"I love you" I said hugging him again 

I got to my mom and Ben, I said my goodbyes to ben first and it was sad but when I saw my mom balling her eyes out, it made me cry so much more than I already was. 

"My baby is all grown up, I love you so much have the best time and call me everyday" she said "

"I promise, and don't have too much fun without me" I said trying to laugh "I love you" I said pulling her into a hug and crying on her shoulder 

Then it was finally Jonah, I mean how could I not burst out crying. I walked over to him and he pulled me into a hug, I rested my head on his chest and he kissed me on the head. I pulled away from the hug and noticed even he had a tear in his eye.

"I love you so much" I said 

"I love you more" he said kissing me 

we hugged again and then I said good bye to them all again before getting into the car, I waved to them and then headed off to NY. I was still crying whilst driving and looked back in the mirror to see them all waving. I loved them all so much and knew that it wouldn't be too long till I saw them all again.
