The Bad Guy//~Why Don't We~

Part 21.

Lily's POV:

The bell rang and I immediately made my way to homeroom, Jonah ran up behind me in the corridor. "Hey slow down" He said putting his hand on my shoulder

"Sorry, guess I just don't want to be late" I said with an awkward laugh 

"Lily I'm not stupid, do you want to tell me what's wrong?" He asked as we walked into homeroom

"Morning guys, Nice to see you back" Miss Peterson said as Jonah and I walked in

"Morning" We both replied walking to our seats

We sat down and Jonah kept asking me what was wrong "Lily tell me?" 

"Look it's just Mia really wants to hang out with you guys because she is all loved up with Corbyn, which don't get me wrong I totally understand, its just I don't think it's the best idea f I hang out with you" I said 

"Why?" He asked confused

"Well one, Every time I look at Daniel I can sense I'm mentally fucking me and two, Zach wants to kill me" I said 

"Well I think that's a bit extra" He said laughing "But I promise you if any of them give you shit I will stop them" He said 

"Thanks Jonah but you really don't have to do that" I said 

"I know but I want to" He said smiling 

The bell rang meaning it was the end of homeroom so Jonah and I left the classroom and made our way to our lessons. The lessons went pretty quickly and Break was tolerable with the boys, but then I was sitting in my lesson right before lunch and when the bell rang I rolled my eyes and walked to the canteen.

When I arrived I saw all the boys and Mia sitting at the table, When Jonah saw me I saw his eyes light up and he made a space next to him on the bench so I could sit down.

"Hey" He said smiling 

"Hi" I said sitting down 

I looked around to see Zach death staring me and Jack and Daniel talking, and then Mia and Corbyn just doing their own thing together. We started eating lunch and it was ok at first. 

"Lily what made you talk to Jonah?" Zach asked

"What do you mean?" I asked a little confused

"What I mean is why did you start talking to him when he joined the school?" He said 

"Well I knew him before he joined the school I just hadn't spoke to him for about a year" I explained 

"Right so what's happening between you?" He asked "Like are you in a relationship?" 

"No we're not" I said whilst exchanging looks with Jonah 

"Yeah so why you sat here then?" He asked 

I sat there for a second just looking at the other boys, Daniel and Jack sat there eating there food pretending not to have heard what Zach just asked, Mia and Corbyn had no idea what was going on and Jonah looked like he was gonna kill someone.

"Well I can see when I'm not wanted" I said getting up pushing my tray forcefully towards Zach so everything on it fell on his lap.

"What the fuck" He yelled 

I just walked away from them all

"Lily?" Mia asked confused leaving Corbyn and following me 

I walked out of the canteen and walked out onto the field, I walked over to the bleachers and just sat down, Mia came up behind me and sat down.
