Why are these corridors so confusing? It's like walking into a maze with a sea of doors and windows, Avery complained in her head.

She walked into a hall full of various pieces of art, dressing the gilded walls from top to bottom; she let herself roam through the palace for a little bit before heading back to the kitchen.

Then, a spectacular view of a garden in full bloom caught her attention and taking out her drawing pad and a pencil from her bag, she tried to trace an outline of the garden as fast as she could.

The green grass looked even brighter in the sunlight. The scenic views were one of the things she loved most from Amerenia, everywhere she looked, it was a picture-perfect place.

"What are you doing here?" someone said, "This is a private area."

Great, she thought.

"Are you going to answer me or not?" Philip asked, clearly getting annoyed, which she didn't mind at all.

"I was looking for Lillian, but I'd also like to know why are you always disrespectful? I mean, have I done something to you that I'm not aware of?" she ranted.

He was speechless, his mouth slightly opened trying to say something, but nothing was coming out. Her phone rang, showing a text from Amber saying that Lillian was with her.

"Seems like Lillian is in the kitchen... goodbye, Your Highness."
