You continued to play with the small bit of slime that you and the twins made. You were completely zoned out that you didn't didn't even notice Sideswipe.
"(Y/N)," he looked at him.
"Oh! Sorry Sideswipe!" You said and began to put he slime up.
"Lennox wanted you at training," he said. "He wanted to talk with you." You nodded and put the slime away and began to the training warehouse.
But then you saw a dance battle going on and you ran over to watch. You cheered for one of the soldiers before someone tapped your shoulder.
You turned around to see Sideswipe again. You blushed, embarrassed. "Sorry, Sideswipe."
He nodded. "That's alright."
You began to make your way to the training warehouse once more-but then you saw Epps. You smiled and waved at him, causing him to reflectively wave back.
You were going to make your way over but Sideswipe lead you to the training warehouse.
You vented. It happened again. Your ADHD caused to you not stay so focused as you should. As a soldier, you should be serious about your work! About missions and guns and all that stuff! But how can you?
You saw Lennox and looked down. "Sorry I took so long, sir..." you apologized.
Sideswipe stayed by your side. "She was distracted again."
Lennox nodded. "That's what I wanted to talk to you about," you suddenly turned frightened. Was he going to kick you out?
"Your ADHD is dangerous for the battlefield," he started, making your gut sink. "But it is still very useful here at base. The Autobots need someone to look to for things, big or small. And I think you're perfect at multi-tasking."
You gasped. You hugged Lennox but then pulled away. "Sorry!" You saluted. "I will definitely take the offer, sir!"
Lennox chuckled. "Alright, now go run along."
You squealed with delight and ran out, Sideswipe following. "So, for your first assignment," you looked up at him in hope. "Do you think you could make some of that gooey stuff with me?"
You nodded. "Yep! Get me some glue, coloring, and a lot of borax!"
