{Song Above: Burning Down The House (Remake)}

As the music played throughout the entire building, on top of your stage with your equipment you could see many Cybertronians dancing. You smirked a little, holding your headphone to your audio receptor as you messed with the equipment.

Many of the citizens below you weren't very sparkling friendly with their dancing, though what would you expect from a party hosted by the one and only DJ {DJ/N}? Nothing was very friendly with sparklings here.

As you turned the bass up, you heard the crowd cheer a certain people's dancing and others laughing. The smell of high grade swam across the building like water, and everyone could smell it without a doubt.

You stuck your derma out in concentration as you messed with the equipment with a single servo. You happened to glance up and see a strange color scheme in the crowd. Bright red and yellow? Oh boy.

You chuckled slightly as you grabbed the microphone. "Hey hey hey!!!" The crowd cheered hearing your voice and turned to you. "Is everyone having an awesome time?" As the cheering crowd chief even louder, you studied the crowd with laughter. It felt amazing, almost as if you were powerful.

"Alright," you chuckled. "There's a whole new playlist coming up! Make sure to write your requests into the system and they will be played during the night! Have fun, and keep rockin'!"

You placed the microphone back and stared the music up once again, dancing slightly as you played it. Some security stayed by the stage to keep you from being attacked. After all, you were basically a celebrity on Cybertron, known for your miraculous DJ skills!

As you played you heard one of your body guards talking with someone. You payed no mind, seeing as it was normal and your job was a bit more important at the moment. But soon you glanced over and saw that the guard let your take over in.

You relaxed and turned to him, cocking your hip. "It's all yours! Knock yourself out, I'll be back in two hours."

While your replacement took charge, you left the stage. You immediately made your way to the bar and stretched, all of your curves and metal showing without much of a problem. "A high grade," you ordered. "Thanks."

As you say to wait for your order, you smiled up at the stage. But you didn't expect someone to sit down next to you so quietly and talk to you. "So, DJ {DJ/N}, hm? I've been wanting to meet you for a few years now. I'm a big fan."

You looked over, seeing that it was the mech you saw earlier in the crowd. "Hey! Mister Red and Yellow! I find your color choice quite odd for this side of cybertron," as you were handed your high grade you paid the bartender. "And I'm honored to meet my fans."

The mech chuckled and ordered himself a cup of high grade as well. "Well, actually," he looked at you for a moment. "I came here for a few reasons, I didn't even know this was your party, or let alone you would even be here,"

"I'm keeping low," you said calmly. "Where I am will be a surprise. But I'm not giving up on my career, you know?"

You glanced at his chest and saw his insignia. This rise of the civil war, and you already have met a soldier on the line. Explains the colors.

You drank your high grade before sighing. "You here looking for a specific Deception or something, 'Bot?"

This seemed to take him by surprise as he took a drink of his drink. He almost spat it out or choked on it by the look of his face. You rolled your eyes slightly.

"I'm Blaster," he said calmly. "And no, I'm not. I was actually here to meet a friend of mine and we were going to..." he paused momentarily. "Wait," he sat his drink down as he studied her more throughly. "I don't remember that scar on your cheek."

You were quiet for a moment before taking a large swig of your high grade and setting the empty cup on the counter. "Happened a few days ago," you sighed. "One of the Autobots did this. Not, I'm not a Decepticons. But I'm not an Autobot," you leaned against the counter. "I'm not getting involved in this war."

Blaster was quiet for a moment before humming. "I'm sorry they did that to you," he said calmly. "But we don't have to continue this line of discussion if you don't want to! I can tell you things about-"

"Hey," you cut him off, taking him by yet another surprise. "Aren't you a DJ too?"

Blaster nodded a little. "Yes, actually. How did you know?"

You smiled a little and looked at him. "I know a DJ when I see one, Blaster. Now listen, okay? I don't care why you're here, but don't start any drama or commotion. I'm running these parties to get peoples' minds off of this... disagreement."

Blaster studied you before nodding. "You have my word," he nudged you playfully. "Not in a fanboy sense, but maybe we should hang out, yeah? Get to know each other? We DJs have to have each other's backs, right?"

You laughed. "You make it sound like DJs are a bad thing or something!"

"Well," Blaster nervously rubbed the back of his helm. "We're like a family, more or less. Don't you think?"

You thought for a moment before smiling and nodding. "Yeah, I guess you're right, Blaster. Oh. And call me {Y/N}."

Blaster nodded. "{Y/N}. Right. I'll keep it in mind, alright? After the party we can hang out," he smiled. "Sound good?"

After chuckling slightly you turned to him. "Well, Blaster," you playfully punched his chest. "You have yourself a date."
