After Daenerys had exiled Ser Jorah Mormont, Sorlo was ordered to keep an eye on the knight until he had left the city. He watched and followed the old man as he packed and collected his things, and before the sun disappeared, he was escorted to the gates of Meereen. Sorlo stood by as Jorah mounted the horse with a heavy heart.
"Protect the queen." Jorah said with a sour expression, he couldn't blame the boy for being angry with him. He had betrayed Daenerys, and Sorlo only did his duty.
"I won't betray her." Sorlo said with hard eyes, he was disappointed in the knight. He had looked up to him, learned from him and yet he broke his loyalty to Daenerys.
"Farewell, kid." Jorah nodded sharply and rode out the gates.
"And you, Mormont." Sorlo said without the knight hearing it.
As the sky was dark, he made his way back to the Great Pyramid to tell his sister the news. He wondered why he hadn't seen her all day. Maybe she was still patrolling, he thought.
Missandei and Grey Worm were walking into Sorlo and Missandei smiled at the man sadly, "The queen was looking for you."
"What is it?" He asked cautiously as he noticed her expression.
"I believe she wished to speak to you alone." The young girl told him, and Sorlo nodded.
"I have to tell you something. A message from your sister Kali." Grey Worm spoke up before Sorlo could walk away. "She went with Daario and the Second Sons to take back Yunkai in the queens name."
His face broke out in panic and worry, "When did they leave?"
"At dawn." The unsullied nodded.
She had been long gone by now and Sorlo' muscles tensed at the information. She left without telling him, or even say goodbye. He would've went with her, he would have. He had to protect his sister.
He knocked on Daenerys' door and opened it without waiting for her invitation. She seemed startled at his sudden entrance, and looked up at him from where she was sitting on the bed. A sad look on her face but somehow her eyes managed to glow happily at the sight of him.
"You wanted to speak with me?" He asked as he cocked his head to the side.
"Yes. Is he gone?" She asked quietly, and he only nodded.
