"Why would you make such a promise!" Daenerys asked stunned with a smile.

"I needed the help. Arya is a great fighter. I didn't think it would be a problem after I was able to ride on the dragon with you." Sorlo defended.

"It isn't a problem. I'm just surprised."

Both of them were strolling around Winterfell, and watched as some people were training, and others were setting up defences around and outside the castle.

It had already been a month since Daenerys was in Winterfell, and she was slowly getting used to the cold winds of the north, as well as the beauty it had to offer.

"So should I tell her the good news?"

"Yes, yes. Tell her she can meet the dragons later." Dany said, as her arm clung around his biceps and her head rested against his shoulder while they walked.

Sorlo halted his steps, and turned his body to face her. He gently caressed her face, while he planted a kiss on top of her lips,

"I will meet you later, then." He smiled, and waited for her nod.

From afar, he could see Varys and Bran watching them, and the way Bran stared at him made his stomach twist. There was just something about the boy that felt wrong.

Sorlo tried to shake off the feeling, and excused himself. As he entered the courtyard, he heard the familiar clang sounds of two blades hitting each other.

Arya and Kali were practicing, while Sansa, Margaery and Brienne watched them.

While Arya was swift and quick on her feet, Kali managed to keep up with the unpredictable steps. They were both unable to hit the other, thus making it a real challenge.

"They've been at it for almost an hour." Sansa informed as she saw Sorlo approach.

"Arya definitely needed someone that manages longer than 10 seconds on their feet."

"Your sister fights well. Who trained her?" Brienne asked with a smile.

"She practiced a lot with Grey Worm, and a friend of ours, Daario. Often she would practice alone, and when she was younger our.. I mean, her father taught her." He explained and cleared his throat.
