Meereen was the largest— and wealthiest city in Slaver's Bay, and therefore the one with the most slaves. It was a known saying that there were three slaves for each free man in Meereen. Daenerys and her army had already successfully sacked Astapor and Yunkai, and were now heading north to the greatest city.

It was a long journey, they had been riding for almost a week and still had miles and miles ahead of them. The sun wasn't kind in Essos as the heat mercilessly stabbed their skin and only made their travel more dreadful. No one had dared to complain though as they served and followed their Queen by own choice, and happily did so.

During the week of their journey Kali had spent most of her time with Daario Naharis and Grey Worm, as both of them agreed to teach her the skill of combat. She was good but there was always more to learn, and she was eager to do so. Sorlo decided to spend his time learning from the two knights as he wanted to wield a sword more gracefully. Despite his excellent skills in archery, he knew he'd have to be more dependent on a sword in the future. Daenerys was becoming more curious of the boy as days went by, each conversation they had it made her feel like she was just a normal girl— and sometimes she needed to feel just normal.

"One more time!" Kali groaned after she was knocked into the dirt by her opponent, Daario, and got back up on her feet. She dusted herself off and wiped the sweat off her forehead.

Daario watched the eager girl, his eyes squinting as the sun shone right down on them, "Your strikes are too predictable. I can see your shoulder move when you go in for the punch."

"I'm sorry I can't stop my shoulder from moving." She said sarcastically, "Not everyone can be as stiff and boring as you."

The man chuckled amused, "You need to have a better stance. Control your breathing. Power lies in the uncertainty, when your enemy doesn't know what you can do, it will scare them." He advised and demonstrated her the stance.

Kali eyed the Second Son carefully, before looking over to Grey Worm, "Do you agree with this fool?"

Grey Worm was a quiet man, he rarely spoke unless spoken too but he was kind nevertheless and Kali knew it, over the days she had gotten more comfortable with the quiet man than the cocky never-shutting-up sellsword.

"Yes. Always be ahead of enemy." The Unsullied soldier spoke in a strong accent, "But he is no good teacher."

Daario turned to look at Grey Worm, a hand on his chest as he mocked to be hurt, "If you believe you can do better, go ahead my friend."
