"Will you be my official boyfriend?" Johnny asked, turning to face Ten who was laying upside down on the couch.
"W-What?" Ten coughed out, falling off the couch, "Fuck- ow."
"Is that a no...?" Johnny tugged Ten up, helping him recompose himself.
Ten rolled his eyes, "Johnjohn, I've called you boyfriend since practically day one. What do you think my answer is gonna be?"
"Yes...?" Johnny gave a sheepish smile at Ten's expression.
"Yes, you idiot, of course, yes." Ten laughed, "I love you. Why wouldn't I want to be your boyfriend?" He tackled the older in a hug.
Johnny froze. Ten's laughing died down.
"What?" The older questioned, "Did you-"
Ten paled in realization, "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, baby. You probably weren't ready or anything- you don't have to say it back! It slipped out- I swear it did. I didn't mean to! I-"
Ten continued to ramble on, scared he may have frightened Johnny away. They hadn't know each other for the longest of times, and after all, he had just gotten out of a toxic relationship.
"No, Tennie," Johnny finally spoke up, cupping Ten's face, "I- I-" he looked Ten in the eyes, "I love you, too."
Ten's jaw dropped.
"W- really?" Ten stuttered out, "This isn't because I said it, and you feel pressured, right? I'm not expecting anything from you or-"
Johnny pressed his lips against Ten's, cutting off his ramble of words.
They pulled away a few minutes later, most definitely out of breath.
"Really?" Ten asked.
Johnny nodded in confirmation.
"I love you so much then, boyfriend." He gave a bright smile.
"I love you, too, you cute idiot." Johnny felt himself smile back.
