Grace has her mother's eyes; Tony's certain of that. They're blue — almost electric — and bright and curious. Tony's, however, are a dark, chocolate brown, though the curiosity definitely came from him.

Her smile came from him, too.

She always smiled as a baby. Sure, she cried some — all babies do — but not as much as he expected. She would smile and giggle up at him, and it would bring tears to his eyes. All he could think about was how lucky he was to have her, and how much he wanted — needed — to change for her.

He knew from the moment he found out her mother was pregnant that she was going to turn his life right side up.

It didn't take him long to decide on her name.
