Chapter 11

May's P.O.V.

It's 5:30 in the morning. I went to check if anyone was awake and everyone was sleeping. I wrote a note to explain what will happen so Matthew won't be worried thinking I've gone missing. This is what I said:

Matt,

I'm leaving America. I know you're probably thinking, 'hey she's crazy' but no, I miss Jai so much and he hates me. I've lost almost all my bestfriends and the only person I have is you. I don't want to loose you so you're the only one who knows where I am and I'm trusting you not to tell anyone where I am. I'm going to live with my mom in Canada. In Ontario, Toronto. I've told her everything and she's fine with me coming. I'm getting a new number and getting rid of this one and once I get the new number, I'll text you straightaway. I trust you Matt, I don't want to loose that trust. I love you.

I put the note next to his phone so that he would see it once he's up. I grabbed my things and headed to the Airport.

It's now 9:34 and the jet my mom sent still hasn't come.

Matthew's P.O.V.

I woke up at 8:45. I couldn't go back to sleep so I went on my phone. I felt a piece of paper next to it. I grabbed it and read the note...

No May.

Please don't leave.

I quickly got dressed and drove to the airport. What if I'm too late. I don't even know what time she left. I went on my phone and went on WhatsApp to see when she was last online. It said "last seen @ 5:57". Shit. I'm starting to think she's left. I drove so quick, I just wanted to see May.

Once I got to the airport, I ran to the waiting room past the security and obviously they were after me. I ran so fast to the waiting room. I saw her sitting there. I ran over to her.

"May, please don't leave me!" She looked up at me. But before I could approach her, security stopped me. She ran over to us. "Please stop, just please give him 5 minutes. He's not boarding!" she shouted. Everyone was looking at us. "First let me check him." they scanned me and once I was clear they left us alone. "You got 5 minutes, you hear me!?" He threatened us. "Yes sir!"

May's P.O.V.

Once they left us, Matt looked me in the eye. His eyes where so red. I felt so bad.

"You left without saying goodbye."

"Matt, I left a note."

"I didn't see the words, 'Bye Matt, I will miss you.'"

"Because I don't want to loose you! I don't want this to be our goodbye. You're going to visit me right?"

"May, does it look like I have the money?"

"I'll pay for your trip!"

"Really?"

"Yes!!"

"Promise?"

"Promise!"

I hugged him. I see my moms jet arriving.

"Well, I'll see you soon Matt."

"Will you?"

"Yeesss!" I hugged him before I left. When I was walking toward the exit, he looked at me and waved. He was about to cry and I had a lump in my throat. I let the tears go.

I took one last glimpse before I left. I blew a kiss before I left and Matt smiled.

Goodbye Minnesota.

Goodbye bullshit.

Hello Toronto.
