The next day just about as awkward as you would expect it to be. Everyone was smirking at us and Taeyong was constantly glaring at us.

But other than that, everything was going perfectly. Except for one thing.

One of the employees at SM Entertainment had hired an investigator to search into Chances past. To see if they could find anything he couldn't.

That morning the investigator and the employee met in the buildings parking lot.

"Hey, did you find anything?"

The investigator smirked, "Did I find anything? Absolutely. You want to know why you couldn't find any records about that kid?"

"Why?"

"Cause he doesn't exist."

The employee looked confused, "Excuse me? What are you saying?"

"There is no one named Chance L/N born where he says he is."

"Are you saying he's an illegal immigrant?"

The investigator chuckled, "I wish it was that simple. But I did find someone named F/N L/N, nineteen years old, same height, same weight, and born in the same place."

The employee shrugged, "So, whats the big deal?"

"F/N L/N, is a girl."

"Are... you saying 'Chance' is actually a girl named Y/N."

"I'm not saying he is. I'm just saying it's really suspicious."

The employee smiled and shook the investigators hand, "Thank you for your help."

He nodded and got back in his car and drove away.

When the employee was alone he smirked, "Y/N, you're career is about to be over."

That day the group had a interview but it was pretty far away so they'd have to stay in a hotel over night.

The interview went pretty smooth. Since I was still the 'new member' they were asking me all sorts of weird questions.

"What's your favorite food?"

I thought for a moment, "I like cake, lasagna, and watermelon."

"Watermelon! Woo!" Shouted Mark.

We all looked at him for a moment and he sunk down in his seat.

"Well, what would you be if you weren't an idol?"

I chuckled, "Probably nothing. But when I was little I wanted to be a police officer."

"Favorite color?"

"Seafoam blue."

"Favorite idol friend?"

"Haechan."

Questions kept coming non stop and we answered them the best we could.

When it was over our boss said we had a fan sign. This would be my first one and I was pretty nervous.

We were led up to a table and I sat by Haechan and not long after a ton of people started to pour in. Wow, now I'm really nervous.

But it went perfectly, everyone was so nice and I had a bunch of fun. Most of the people were teenagers but I looked at the end of the table and I seen a older man in a suit. Probably in his mid thirties.

I shrugged, who am I to judge. When the man finally made it up to me, he simply stood there staring at me.

Nervously I nudged Haechan with my knee and he looked up. Sensing the tension he spoke up, "Hi, do you want Chance to sign something for you?"
