It was now the end of the week and my doctors appointment was here.

Haechan came with me, along with Taeyong.

When we arrived Taeyong and I sat down in the waiting room while Haechan got some papers from the front desk.

The papers asked about basic information. Like if I'm a smoker or have any prior illnesses.

I quickly finished answering it and soon I doctor walked up to me.

"Chance, I'm ready to see you now."

I nodded and stood up but then I looked back down, "Can Haechan come with us?"

He nodded, "Yes, what ever you want."

Haechan got up with me and followed us into a room that was pretty close to the waiting room.

The doctor motioned for me to sit on the table and he spoke up, "Alright Chance, now what's wrong? No one said when they made the appointment."

Haechan quickly got up and shut the door so no one could hear what came next.

I looked up at him, "So, what ever I say in this room will not come out?"

"That's correct. I'm only allowed to disclose information if I think your life is in danger. But, why do you ask? Is something really wrong?"

   "I... well..."

Haechan got up and kissed my forehead, "Just tell him, it's alright."

The doctors eyes went slightly wide at the sudden display of affection. But I took a deep breath and steadied myself, "I need to be checked for a pregnancy."

He slightly chuckled, "I think you've been reading to many of those m-pregs. You see, you can't get pregnant."

Haechan and I both stared at him for a moment then Haechan spoke, "Actually, this one can."

   "I don't understand."

Haechan sighed, "He is a She."

He nodded, "Now I understand. So you're saying Chance is actually a woman?"

I nodded and the doctor sighed, "I'm sorry. But you have to keep this secret okay."

He sat down and ran his fingers there his hair. "I don't really have a choice. So of course I won't tell anyone. Now I just need to take a blood test."

   "How long will it take?"

"Not long. I just need to check the blood for the hCG hormone."

   "Okay."

He soon took the blood from my arm and left to have it tested.

While I sat waiting I looked to Haechan. "So what do you hope the results are?"

"I'm fine with any result. But if you are pregnant, the child won't be happy. Imagine living your life not knowing your parents and being shunned from everyone."

   I nodded, "You're right."

About half an hour later the doctor came back in with some papers. He started to take some things from the cabinets and he took my blood pressure and heart rate.

When he was finished he started to ask some questions, "Is your heart rate always so high?"

   "I... think so. Why?"

"Hmm. Well have you been feeling dizzy or light headed?"

   "A little. Is something wrong?"

   He sighed, "You're not pregnant."

I smiled, "Really, that's great. But why do I get the feeling there's more?"

He pulled out the papers from the blood test, "While I was doing the blood test I noticed a major decrease in your red blood cells. Common symptoms for that are dizziness and tiredness."

I nodded, "So I have Anemia. I'll be fine, right."

He shook his head, "It's not that simple. You see, your red blood cells are dying early and becoming contorted which can block blood flow leading to severe pain or a heart attack. You have sickle cell anemia."

   "A... heart attack?"

He nodded, "But since we caught it I can put you on some medications to help with it. So it won't get any worse."

"Any worse? Are you saying I already have problems?"

"Yes. But like I said. Medications will help and so will blood transfusions." The doctor then got up and wrote some on a small piece of paper. "Have this taken to the pharmacy. You'll be on two different medications from now on."

I nodded, "Thank you. But, what will happen if I don't take these?"

"Well, odds are you'll have fainting spells but anything worse is really unlikely."

   "Ok, may I leave now?"

He nodded, "Absolutely, have a good day."

I got up and took Haechans hand. When we stepped out I seen Taeyong still in the waiting room. When he seen us he smiled, "So what's the news?"

Haechan sighed, "Chance isn't pregnant, he's sick."

   "Sick? How?"

   "It's called sickle cell anemia."

Taeyong nodded, "I've heard of that. But don't worry Chance. I've never heard of anyone dying from it."

"He said that heart attacks are a possibility." I said.

"Yea, but that's really rare. If you just take your medications and take better care of your body. You should be fine."

   I nodded, "You're probably right."

Taeyong then smiled, "Now let's go.

After a long drive back home I stepped back in the dorm and seen everyone was sitting around or pacing. Jungwoo seen me first. "Y/N! Tell us what the doctor said. We've all been so nervous."

   "I'm... not pregnant."

Everyone smiled but then Johnny noticed Haechan wasn't smiling, "Somethings wrong, what is it?"
