Chapter 17

It's been a few days since the incident. I'm still nervous, course but. We have a plan if anything happens.

-Flashback-

Haechan ended the phone call. "I just got finished talking to my cousin."

"What'd she say?"

"She won't tell anyone about you being a girl and if you are pregnant she'll announce a pregnancy and take care of the baby when it's born."

I nodded, "I still don't like it. But it's the best plan we got."

He sighed, "Yea, I can't stand it either."

Today we had an event to go to so we all started to get ready.

Haechan laid a black suit on the bed. "I got you this last time we went shopping."

I smiled and started to put it on, "Ah, thank you Haechan, I love you."

He quickly kissed my forehead, "Oh, and a lot of the cameras at this event are going to be live. So be careful okay."

I nodded, "I got it."

When we were both ready we waited for the others in the living room.

Soon we headed out the door and were quickly drove into the city.

I looked to Haechan, "I'm nervous. What if trip on live camera?"

He chuckled, "Then a million memes will be made out of it."

I slumped in my seat, "Great."

A few minutes later the car stopped and the door was opened.

Instantly the cameras started to flash and I grabbed ahold of Haechans sleeve. The light were blinding but I managed to keep a straight face as we walked through the crowd.

A moment later a woman ran up to us with a mic, "Are you all excited for tonight."

We all nodded, "Yea, it's going to be fun."

I looked over and seen a man behind her holding a camera on his shoulder. Lord, are we live right now?

She smiled, "Is there anyone in particular that you're excited to meet?"

I shook my head, "Not Really, I'm just hoping that everyone is nice and fun."

Suddenly I heard a noise from my back pocket.

The lady chuckled, "Oh Chance, your phone is ringing."

I nodded and looked at the screen then I smiled, "Hey, it's my mom."

I then quickly answered it. "Hello, Mom. How are you doing?"

-Back in America-

Y/N's mom was busy cooking dinner when her husband yelled from the living room.

"Hey, can you hand me the remote?"

She sighed, "But it's on the arm of the couch."

"I can't reach it though."

"Whatever." She ran into the living room and handed him the remote.

Once again he started to complain, "Ah, I can't watch the news it's all tied up with that kpop crap."

"Leave It on. It'll go off soon. Besides Y/N used to really love Kpop."

He sighed and threw the remote down.

Someone on tv then began to talk, "And now we have the group Nct 127 coming up. Are you all excited for tonight?"

"Yea, it's going to be fun."

She suddenly gasped and look at the screen. That voice. She knew it better than anyone's.

The boy then looked at the camera.

Her husband looked at her confused, "What the hell is wrong with you?"

"You dumbass! You can't even see your own kid when she's looking right at you!"

The woman started to ask Y/N more questions but she wasn't paying attention. She then noticed the corner of the screen said it was live.

She grabbed her phone and quickly called Y/N.

When it happened she thought her heart stopped right there. The boy on tv's phone started to ring.

"Oh Chance, your phone is ringing."

He pulled the phone from his back pocket. "Hey, it's my mom. Hello Mom, how are you doing?"

She smiled, "Oh, nothing much. I'm just watching tv with your father. How are you?"

He nodded, "Yea, me neither. I've just been really busy with work, sorry I haven't called much."

"Don't worry sweetie. I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

The boy smiled, "Thank you Mom. I love you."

"Love you too."

"Call you later."

Soon they both hung up and she fell onto the couch. The father who was still confused was about to change the channel but the Mom quickly grabbed the remote, "Don't you dare change the channel."

He shrugged and went upstairs.

When she was alone she smiled and watched her kid continue to answer questions on tv. "So this is what you've been doing this whole time? You could've just told me."

-Back to Chance-

For hours we talked to other groups and watch some preform. It was a really fun day but it soon came to an end.

As we headed home Haechan looked over, "Earlier today I made an appointment for you to go to the doctor to see if you're pregnant. It's at the end of the week."

I nodded, "But... if I go to the doctor then more people will find out I'm a girl."

"Yes, but doctors are bound to confidentiality. If you just buy a pregnancy test from a convenience store, anyone could see you and it would be suspicious."

"That makes sense."
