Chap 7

Alexis' POV

"Let's give Miss Brittany Ruth another round of applause," I said as Britt put TC's mic where it needed to be. She went into the tent behind the banner. "So most of you know that Drew was in the hospital, right?" The audience awed. "Yeah, so Mr. Todd Austin is taking his place for the next couple weeks. Let's get on to the concert. We know this is an anti-bullying concert so no hate. I'm going to be walking around making sure the barracades don't get to close to the stage. I have to be able to walk between the stage and the barracades. I have the right to escort you from the premesis." I heard a why coming from the audience. "Because I'm a certified FBI agent." I showed my badge. "Which would explain the gun." I got out my phone. "Now, if I can have these girls meet me at the stairs: Alicia Walker, Madeline Harper, Grace Stone, Tiffany Anderson, and Ruby Mayheim. Without further ado, here's After Romeo!" I put Blake's mic where it was supposed to go and met up with the girls. "Hey girls. I'm Agent Inthavong but you guys can call me Alexis. Do you know why you were picked?"

"No," said Ruby.

"Come with me," I said. We walked into the tent behind the banner. The audience started screaming. "You've been chosen to be one of the lucky SAY Girls." I smiled as the girls were happy. "I know you're excited for this to happen."

"Weren't you one of the lucky girls for Blake?" asked Tiffany.

"A long time ago," I smiled. "But you're Blake's SAY Girl today." I nodded. "Alicia is Jayk's, Madeline is TC's, Ruby is Devin's and Grace is Drew's."

"I thought Drew can't perform," said Grace.

"He can't dance," I said. "He could perform but he can't dance." I looked at the girls. "That's why we decided to just let Todd do the dance and singing part except for Song About You." I heard Where's My Juliet play. "That's your cue." I opened the curtain and let the girls walk out onstage. I closed the curtain. "Ugh." I sat in the chair. "This is exhausting."

Blake's POV

Tiffany sat in the chair in front of me. "Hey," I said.

"Hi," said Tiffany as I gave her a hug.

"Glad you're here," I said. I saw Alexis walking and checking the barracades. The fan's listened to her. She disappeared in the tent. "Okay."

"You and Alexis, I think, would make an amazing couple," said Tiffany.

"Thank you," I smiled. "We're just really good friends." After the concert ended we went backstage to change. Alexis and Britt were back there. "Well, that was fun."

"We got another situation," said Alexis. "Is Todd going to be in the picture with you guys?"

"Yes," said Drew. "I am too."

"Okay," said Alexis. "I'll have to take the pictures." I sighed. "Jonnie wanted me to and Britt to announce the names and where they're from."

"Alright," I said as they left. We changed and got back onstage. "Let's get to work."

"Alright," said Britt. "The boys of After Romeo." We got done with group pictures and the VIP meet and greet. "I'm done."

"Me too," said Alexis picking up her purple cheetah print backpack. "I feel like I took more pictures for you guys today than anyone could have in a lifetime."

"Get used to it," said Jonnie as we followed him out to the van. "It's supposed to feel that way."

"Next stop, Cumberland, Maryland," said Drew.

"Hey, isn't that where Kat is at?" asked Britt.

"Yeah," said Alexis. "Blake and I will follow you there."

"Okay," I said as the rest of the crew got into the van. "Want me to drive?"

"Please?" asked Alexis. We got in and I followed our van. "It feels good to be in the passenger seat for once."

"Really?" I asked.

Alexis nodded. "Yeah," said Alexis. "It's relaxing."

"Well, I'll be driving for a while," I said.
