Damion POV

We head over to Chili's. "Hi welcome to Chili's." I whisper to Rose and she starts to laugh and I see mom smile but she doesn't turn around she just keeps walking. "Hi yes table for 5." Nana says to the hostess.  "Right this way please." She says. "Um if she keeps staring at you ima punch her lights out." Rose whispers to me. I smile of course. Mom tries not to laugh, same with Nana. "Listening in is very rude Ma'me." I say to mom telepathically. "It's cute im sorry! Im happy for youuuuu!!!" She says back to me.  "Hi im your waitress my name is Ruby! Can i start you off with some drinks and or appetizers?" She says to us and oh my goodness why is every female working today and staring at me!! "Ill take a water, she'll take a strawberry lemonade." I say to the waitress. Mom, Nana, and Riley order there drinks and order some chips and salsa. "So Rose, may I ask, do you do any sports or clubs?" Mom asks. She smiles. "Yes actually, I'm head of student government, I do softball and soccer. Im on the Varsity team for both. I also am in theater and chorus." She says and smiles. "Your grades?" Nana asks. "Oh im in A honor roll and I am in all advance classes. Its difficult but if I put my mind to it, I can do it." She says. "Im impressed. KEEP HER!" Riley says. Rose laughs a little. "Well, I am glad Damion has you to keep him in check. He needs it." My mom says. I try to hide my smile. 

 We eat and head out of Chili's and I see my friends rushing toward us. "What's wrong?" I ask Michael. "Damion some fucking weird dude is outside and threw a fucking car and he is asking for you." Michael says to me. "Don't you dare." Mom says and she tells Nana to hold me back and she rushes outside. "Let's go." Riley says and grabs Rose's arm and we rush to the back of the mall. "Damion, is this what you've been telling me about." Rose asks me. "DOES SHE KNOW!" Nana exclaims. "No and yes okay! Someone tried hurting her I had to help!" I say to Nana. She sighs and so does Riley. "Get in the car with Riley and go home, get Daunte." Nana says to us and Riley nods her head and she drives us off.  "Listen to me, this family is fucked and im sorry you are in this now. Damion you keep her in your room and you do not come down unless one of us comes and gets you. If it is Asher he will not stop till he gets you or Daunte comes and beats his ass." Riley says to me. I nod my head and we are home and I grab Rose and we rush inside. "Wow what's wrong?" Daunte says. "Who's this?" He says and looks at Rose. "Hi im Rose." She says and smiles. "Dad, go outside." I say and rush her upstairs. "Listen to me, it'll be okay. Im here." I say to her and she hugs me. "I think it's time for the full story babe." She says to me. I sigh. "I will tell you."
