Sabine and Tom Dupain-Cheng were happy as ever. Sabine just gave birth to their daughter. The two agree their baby is adorable as ever what with her dark blue hair and bright bluebell eyes. She is the best of both of them.
However, what they did not notice is that Marinette was born with a bit of birth defect. She has this funny, pink mark right on her right cheek. It seems the mark was something she was born with according to the doctors and nurses. No one knows just why this is the case, nor will they ever find out.
"Awe, she is a precious one that Marinette!" Grandma Gina had said moments after the baby's birth.
"She sure is true." Uncle Cheng had agreed right along with her grandma.
"I think she is ugly," the mayor's daughter and a rude girl who lives not far away, Chloe had said.
Everyone else could not agree more that Chloe is one spoiled, rich, kid! That and she is mean as ever!
"Let us hope she will not be that mean in the future!" Sabine had said.
"Yes, we can only hope." Tom had said to show how much he agreed with his wife.
