Chapter 6 Chloe Got Burnt!

             Marinette goes back to school a week after her head heals completely. She is aware that someone watches her.  She is almost certain about it. She does not say a word though.  Not a single one.  She just walks to class and sits down.

           Later after class, she is in the park when Chloe approaches her.  "Hey, you, you should not be here!  This is the place for cool people, not nerds or ugly girls!" Chloe spits out.

          "Chloe!  Knock it off!" Adrien yells at her.

           "Oh, hey four-eyes!  Adrien, we hate to say it, but it seems someone waste time around those losers!  The greatest loser is Marinette!"  Chloe remarks.

         "She is not a loser, you are!"  Adrien says.

        "Ha, he told you!"  Alya remarks.  

       "Sure enough, he did dudette," Nino remarks.

       "Look, we  know the losers are nothing, but a waste of time!" Chloe retorts.

   "Oh, yeah then Chloe better look where she walks because she is the only loser here," Adrien says.

     Chole glares at him angrily. She cannot believe he would have the nerve to call her a loser!  There is no way he really thinks this about her, is there?  She puts her hands on her hips to show her annoyance at once.

     "OOh, better put some cream on that burn!"  Nino retorts.

   "Yeah, he totally put her to shame!"  Sabrina says now that she no longer sides with Chloe.

    "We advise you to watch it from here on out! "  Rose remarks.

    "There is a 100% chance she threatens to call her father, in three, two, one..." Max remarks.

    "Ugh, no one will get away with this!"  Chloe yells at them all. She pulls out her phone to call her father.

    "See she calls her daddy!  Such a Daddy's girl!"  Max says with a look of amusement across his face.

 "Wow, Chloe got burnt!  Chloe got burnt!"  Ivan and Mylene say together.  They both find it to be the funniest thing ever that she was put down by Adrien Agreste, as in the boy that she pretends she cannot stand even though it is obvious that Chloe does indeed like him.

 "Ha, she sure did indeed!  It seems that she is not the only one who knows how to give out remarks that bother someone else."  Kim says.  He looks in shock towards Adrien.  He has been trying for years to try to find a way to get back at Chole, but never could find the right words when it comes to that girl.

        Chloe walks off angry. She cannot believe her father does not agree to press charges towards the others.  How could he take their side?  He is not usually against her? So, why now?  why when she feels she could use his help?  Why does it seem like her own father does not understand her anymore like he once did?

        Chloe goes home furious. She will have to find a way to see to it that Marinette pays for her ugliness, for Adrien, and for whatever else she can come up with for that matter.  She smirks and thinks, there is got to be some dirt on her, right?  

      No one can have that clean of record, can they?  Besides, she reasons, everyone knows that Marinette is rarely ever on time for school.  She arrives at her house in no time, enters her room, and works on homework.  When she finishes she thinks, this better work or else what is she to do?    

       *  Author's  Note:  Wow, it seems Chloe can dish out the insults, but cannot take it when others give them back to her!
