One year later, the doctors and nurses ran some tests. They each smile.

"Marinette, we have good news," The led doctor says.

"Oh, and what might that be?" Marinette asks.

"yes, do tell us," Alya states.

"I want to know the good news about my best friend," Nino adds.

"Well, as you know we ran tests today since it has been a year since Adrien's cancer diagnosis and treatments started." The nurse says.

    "Yes, and?" Marinette asks.

"And it is safe to say your finance is on the long road to a full recovery, but he is in remission," The led doctor remarks.

'Awe, that is great news, thanks so much doctor," Marinette says.

"Yes, he is cancer-free!" Nino shouts.

"Alright, three cheers for Adrien," Alya adds.

"Hip, hip, hurray for Adrien!" Marinette shouts.

The others join in relieved that Adrien is better now.

Adrien smiles when his three friends enter the room, but he is delighted to see his girlfriend. "Hi, everyone," He says.

    "Hi, yourself, dude," Nino responds.

"Hi, there man," Alya chimes in.

"Hi, Adrien! I am glad you are better," Marinette exclaims. She hugs him.

"The doctor gave me the okay to leave the hospital since I am in remission," Adrien says. He frowns a bit.

"What is with the glume look, Adrien?" Nino asks.

"Yes, why the long face?" Alya inquiries.

"Adrien, are you okay?" Marinette asks.

"Yes, but I don't have a home to return to. My father did not come to visit, because he sold the mansion. Nathalie moved back in with her sister. The Gorilla has relatives he is staying with, and I have nowhere to go." Adrien explains.

"I have a guest room you could use," Nino says.

" Hey, wait just a minute, man, the guest room at your place is occupied," Alya adds.

"What do you mean, Alya? It is empty. You share the same room as me," Nino remarks.

"I know but the baby needs space to sleep. It is hardly fair he or she does not have a room to make space for your best friend here," Alya states.

"Baby? You mean you are pregnant? As in were going to be parents?" Nino asks.

"Yes, that is exactly what I mean," Alya answers.

Nino hugs his wife. "Well, in that case, I can't help you, buddy.  Too bad we don't know of anyone else with enough space to house you."

                   "Congrats you two!" Marinette gushes.

"Oh, don't be silly, Adrien can stay with me," Marinette offers.

Adrien smiles. He loves the idea. How will it look since they are not married, or engaged yet?

"I will be glad to Marinette."

"See, now it's settled then, Adrien goes to stay at Marinette's place," Nino remarks.

"Marinette, where will he sleep? Isn't there only one bed there?" Alya asks.

Marinette rolls her eyes. "For crying out loud, I have a guestroom he can use, and there's a dresser, a chair, and a bed in it. There is even a private bathroom off of it he can use," Marinette remarks.

"Sounds good to me," Adrien says. He winks at Marinette. She blushes. Alya and Nino laugh. They leave to give Adrienette some privacy.

After they are gone, Adrien sighs. "Marinette could you turn around?" Marinette nods her head and spins around. Adrien changes out of the hospital stuff into his clothes. He is glad to have his things for a change. He is not sure the new mansion owners will let him in to collect his books.

Marinette smiles. "You decent yet, Adrien?" She asks.

"Y-yes, you can turn back around now, Marinette," Adrien answers.

Marinette sees him wearing his jeans and a t-shirt with socks and shoes. "Let's get that paperwork signed so we can go home," She says while holding his hand.

Adrien goes with her. He has his things in a small bag. The check-out nurse smiles when she sees them. "Here you go there is only a small amount of forms to fill out, then he is free to go."

Marinette fills out the forms and hands them over. "The address change is noted in the forms. He will be staying with me from here out." Marinette explains. "I am sure that is fine, Miss Dupain-Cheng, have a great day!" The nurse waves at them both. She thinks awe, that couple is so cute. I am the young man is better because I remember the young lady was upset before he got better.

Marinette takes Adrien shopping before she takes him to her place. "We are here for you to pick out a toothbrush, comb, shaving stuff, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, books, and whatever else you might need to make your stay more comfortable," Marinette says.  "Okay, Marinette, whatever you say, darling," Adrien says. He kisses her and she blushes.

After they finish purchasing the things Adrien picked out which included some pajamas, socks, underwater, shirts, pants, shorts, a swimsuit, and a robe they head back to her place.

Marinette unlocks the door and he comes inside with his hospital bag and the new goodies. She shows him the guest room. Adrien smiles when he sees the room is decorated in green and black. It is amazing how nice it looks. He puts his things away.

"I think I will take a much-needed shower," Adrien states.

"Ah, yes, then I will leave you to it," Marinette replies.  She blushes when she thinks about how nice it would be to join him.  No, bad Marinette, she says to herself. She must not think of such things they are not married.

While he showers, Marinette fixes a meal, and he soon comes to join her. She smiles when she sees how handsome he looks in a new t-shirt and pair of shorts. Wow, she thought, he looks smoking hot in that get-up.

They enjoy a nice meal of rice, burritos, and nachos. Marinette is glad to see him starting to look so healthy again already. After the meal, she washes the dishes, and he dries them.

The two are in the living room watching a romantic movie together.
