SYDNEY TRIED HER BEST TO BE QUICK TO MAKE SURE SHE looked somewhat presentable,
even though she still felt that she looked like shit. I mean, who doesn't look like a sleeping mess at one am ?

In two minutes, her phone screen lit up ,

INCOMING VIDEO CALL FROM
DAVID 🙂

taking a deep breath, Sydney accepted the call, and on her phone screen , David smiled at her brightly. He looked somewhat tired, but at the same time, Sydney almost couldn't get over on how attractive David really was, and cute as well. His hair stuck up in different directions, his beautiful hazel eyes staring peomptly back at her through his phone screen, and the cute pout he wore in his features was enough to make Sydney's heart skip a beat.

" Hey." David spoke, his tone playful as Sydney tucked a strand of hair behind her ear , "hi there Julian." She teased, David rolling his eyes at the brown haired girl for using his middle name.
Even though, he must admit, he liked it when she said it.

" Haha." He stated sarcastically , Sydney giggling at his evident tone of playfulness, and this instantly caused David to brightly smile at the girl.

Her laugh was something he wantes to hear constantly, it was a sound that he's never get tired of.

"So, what're you watching on Netflix?"

Sydney bit her lip at his question, being caught red handed ,she wanted to quickly tell him a random name of a Netflix movie, but for some reason, she her mind went blank and honesty was the only option,

"I'm actually watching your vlogs." David perked up at this, "oh really." David seemed satisfied with Sydney's answer , "yea really, idiot."

David raised his hands up in surrender , "I'm not an idiot, not entirely anyway."

"Oh, so juggling wine bottles and cutting open your hand is not idiotic? Noted." David pouted, but then laughed loudly, and Sydney couldn't help but join him.

Their facetime call lasted three hours, where they talked about anything and everything. David telling Sydney about his friends, him purposely leaving out Liza , as he didn't want to discuss a topic that he was still uncomfortable about yet, Sydney would find out soon enough about his break up though, as he and Liza had already filmed the video announcing it.

As for Sydney , she told David about Lea, as well as telling him about her dog, a labrador named Shelley.
Sydney also purposely left out the reason why she's always busy, and not having the time to talk. It wasn't something you just blurted out.

Nevertheless, the two talked like they've known each other for years, and it felt good,
neither one of them wanted to end the call, but it was four am already, and Sydney needed to get sleep, as well as David.

They said their goodbyes, and both of them fell asleep with a warm feeling inside of them.
