"HOW ABOUT JOINING THE CIRCUS, FOR REAL THOUGH."

"Ilay, no."
     "Ilya yes."

David sighed loudly at his friend, yet, a smile was still placed upon his features.

       For the past three hours, Lea, Ilya, David and Sydney sat, trying to come up with the best ideas for Sydney's bucket list. Even though the mood was still slightly somber, due to the news which they had received, Ilya and Lea had take it upon themselves to be as ecstatic as possible, trying to get both David and Sydney's, as well as their own minds off of the news.

        Sydney was yet to be discharged from the hospital. They waited upon the doctor to fill in the neccesary forms before she could go, and to be honest, she couldn't wait to finally get out of the hospital.

"Ohh, I have one!" Lea loudly cheered ,
     "Hook up with someone, add that to the list." Sydney's eyes widened, a laugh escaping her, as she playfully rolled her eyes at her best friend, letting out a small 'pfft' followed by a  "what? no."

      With Sydney's quick dismissal, her eyes drifted over toward David who seemed slightly uncomfortable with Lea's idea.

               "Stop being a wuss, here, give me the list." Lea was quick to grab the list from Sydney, scribbling down the 9th point on her bucket list.

   "Okay, one more, that'll be enough."

"Fall in love." David mumbled, and Sydney instantly panned her head over toward the shy looking boy. His cheeks were slightly tinted as his tongue poked out between his teeth. Ilya quirked an eyebrow at his best friend, followed by a smirk, but he decided to rather not interrogate David, as it'd just make the situation awkward, but he'd still be sure to do it later on.

    "I like that." Lea quipped, smiling brightly as she scribbled down the last point on Sydney's bucket list.

        As for Sydney, she didn't move her gaze from David, staring deeply into his soft eyes as a shy smile enveloped her features,

"Okay, let's see what we got." Ilya grabbed the list from Lea, clearing his throat as he started to read the several items on Sydney's bucket list.

1. Travel to a different state
2. Go to a club
3. Get kicked out of a club
4. Go skydving
5. Ride in a hot air balloon
6. Go on a boat ride to touch a killer whale
7. Get a tattoo
8. Kiss a girl
9. Hook up with someone
10. Fall in love

              "I have to say it, these are pretty good." Ilay places the paper down, sitting back in the hospital chair, arms crossed over his chest.

"Syd," Lea spoke, "you're a hundred percent sure about this? About not going through with chemo?" Sydney immediately nodded, "I've never been so sure about something."

Subconsciously, Sydney's hand moved over, grabbing hold of David's, who interwined their fingers.

"So, where do we start?"

"I think we should all go to L.A."
Lea smiled triumphantly, Sydney raising her eyebrows at her best friend.

"Why?"

Before Lea could answer, David interrupted the conversation, "that's a great idea. I mean, then we can tick off the first thing on your bucket list."

Sydney sighed slightly, "and - you and Lea can stay at my house, I mean, there is enough room, more than enough. And you can meet my friends, and also you can -"

"I get it Dave." Sydney chuckled, "I'm sold."

Lea clapped happily,
      "This is going to be so much fun!"
