April 28th 2021, pro tour
Everything had gone to plan so far, Dianne should only be dancing for another 10-15 mins. The other pros knew the plan, and made up a reason for not being able to go out of stage door that night. Dianne knew joe was here, she just didn't know his intentions.
"Thank you for coming, good night " the cast went backstage and changed into there normal clothes,the audience cleared. "Can we have you all back on stage in 5 please" one of the producers called.
As requested the pros made their way to stage. Amy,Dianne and Oti where at the back when they reached the wings of the stage Dianne stood in complete shock at what she saw in front of her. Amy and Oti walked down the stairs to join the rest of the cast on the front row of the audience.
Tears where running down her face as she walked onto the nicely lit stage to be met by her boyfriend who was standing waiting for her. Joe smiled up at Dianne and held both her hands in his.
"Dianne, the first day I saw you when I started strictly you caught my eye and not just because of your red Barnett" this caused everyone to laugh. "You are so naturally beautiful inside and out and I knew instantly that we would get on. Being partnered with you was like the cherry on top of the cake you have made me laugh since day one of meeting you and you make me so much more of a happier person. Before I met you I didn't know what love was or where my love life was going, I hadn't had a girlfriend since I was 19 and no one had ever caught my eye like you did. I thought I would never find anyone who would understand me and my humour, understand my life and my job. I always hoped if I did ever find someone that they would be accepting of my job, you went above and beyond on that one and made your own channel. And I love how happy it makes you."
Tears where now streaming down everyone's face. "I can't even explain how much I love you, but I know you know that, you know that I will be there for you when your upset or missing your family, I'll be there to laugh with you when you make a stupid joke, I'll be there forever. And I want to properly prove it so...."
Joe got down on one knee "Dianne Buswell, will you marry me" omg yes of course. Joe put the ring on Diane's finger and pulled her into a long meaningful kiss. Dianne jumped up and wrapped her legs around Joe. Everyone was crying and cheering the girls all ran up to Dianne and embraced her in a hug whilst screaming. The boys all walked up to joe congratulating him.

Later that night in bed joe and Dianne laid there cuddled up to one another "are you happy di" "I'm so happy" Dianne leant up to kiss joe whilst stroking his face and running her hands softly through his hair.
"I love you di, and I can't wait to marry you"
"I love you, me neither gorgeous"
