dianne POV
i had just finished tonight's show and i had 5 days off, the others had a hotel booked for the night but i was traveling back to london tonight. I wanted to see joe after almost a week of not being together. We face time every morning and every night but it's not the same as waking up or going to sleep cuddled to the one i love.

my uber had arrived, once i was in i texted joe "uber has just picked me up, should be about an hour cant wait to see you xxx"
i put my phone down, i was so tired and this break was well needed. i was so achey and tired, i decided to book myself and joe a massage for monday. whilst texting our usual masseuse a text came through from joe
"good, can't wait to see you and give you a big hug if i'm not in the kitchen i'll be in my office editing but i should hear you. see you soon gorgeous xxxxx"

i was in the lift going up to our apartment i was so tired and just needed a hug and kiss from joe. i unlocked the door and put my bags down near the stairs. i walked into the kitchen and saw joe wasn't there so i walked to his office. when i opened the door he was sat there in a hoodie and shorts editing a new vlog
"Joseph" i walks over to him with my arms open and sat on his knee. he wrapped his arms around me and we shared a sweet kiss. "iv missed you so much" joe said in to my neck.
after cuddling and talking for about 30 mins joe suggested we headed up to bed as he could see how worn out i was. he told me to go up and he would sort out downstairs.

joe POV
i was locking the doors and clearing my dishes from tea before heading up to bed with di. i grabbed her a glass of water and went upstairs when i got there she was already cuddled into my pillow on her side of the bed. i walked over and placed her water down on the bedside table before getting in myself. i carefully moved the pillow out of dianne's arms and pulled her into me. i kissed her forehead "good night, i love you" she cuddled closer into me and grabbed a handful of my t-shirt. this was how i wanted to go to sleep, not on face time. in bed holding dianne being able to kiss her goodnight.
