The year was 2023, last year Joe and Dianne had welcomed there first child into the world. She was all they ever wanted, little Elsie. Due to that Dianne has completed her last year on strictly in 2021, winning with her celebrity partner which was the cherry on top.
It was approaching Elsie's first birthday, Joe and Dianne had planned a party for her at there home in Brighton. they moved there in January of 2022 before Elsie was born. They loved it as they were surrounded by love and family, with Zoe and Alfie only living a 10 minute walk away and recently Dianne's parents buying a holiday home there so they could visit when they wanted to.
Elsie's birthday was only a few days after Joe's, on the 12th. It was the morning of Joe's birthday and Dianne had gone to collect elsie from her room, she was making Joe birthday pancakes.
'morning baby, should we go make dada some breakfast' Elsie stared up at her mum and smiled with her big blue eyes. Dianne made her way through to the kitchen placing elsie in her highchair in front of the tv. She set to work making her and joes pancakes and a coffee for Joe.
On her way to there room she first took in the food and placed it on the side then returned with her daughter placing her on her fathers chest. Dianne walked around to her side of the bed and slid in next to her husband brushing the hair of his head, as Joe was waking up Dianne placed his food on the bed. 'happy birthday Joseph' Joe smiled up at Dianne and placed a kiss on both Dianne and his little girls head. 'thanks dot' Joe sat up playing with Elsie making her giggle like always and started to eat his food.
once they were both finished Dianne put Elsie onto her play mat on the floor. 'Joseph i know we said we weren't doing big presents this year but i have a few' Dianne brought a bag of presents onto the bed and Joe began to open them. After opening them Joe leant in and gave Dianne a passionate kiss 'thank you, you know you don't have to, ' i actually have one more for you stay there. Dianne ran downstairs and brought a smaller bag into the room with her, 'now i hope you like it because i don't think i can return this one'.
Joe unwrapped a small box and slowly opened it, tears collected in both Joe and Dinnes eyes, Joe wrapped his arms around Dianne and rested his hand on her abdominal. They looked into each others eyes tears streaming down there faces, 'i love you so much, i love you too' we're having another baby Joseph.
Joe reached down and brought his daughter onto the bed, kissing her head 'look elsie mumma has a little baby in her tummy' elsie reached her arms out for her mum and snuggled down into her arms Joe looked on at the situation with pride he had the best wife and mum of his children he could ever ask for and he couldn't wait to see what the next chapter of his life brought.
