Patton (Dad's) Hangout

(A/N): I am updating again today because of the boredom that arrives in the evening.

-(Y/N)'s POV-

My parents didn't get home until late. I told them about my new friends and how tomorrow, I was gonna hang out with Patton.

I was waiting for Patton. I couldn't possibly be even more excited than what I already was. After a little while longer I heard a knock at the door. I was about to open the door until my dad came trudging down the stairs and opened it. My dad doesn't normally like me hanging out with boys. So when he saw Patton he started bombarding him with questions. Such as, "What are you doing here? Who are you? How do you know my daughter?"

I walked forward and noticed that Patton looked very uncomfortable. Since my dad wasn't even letting him answer. So I did the only thing I could think of which was interrupting him, "dad I told you last night that I was going to hang out with one of my friends named Patton, he's kind of the dad in my friend group, and I'm spending the whole day to get to know him." I noticed Patton ease up and relax.

"That's right kiddo!" He giggled while saying that. My dad looked skeptical at first but brushed it off.

"Fine just don't stay out too late." I smiled gave my dad a hug and then walked out the door.

"So Patton what do you have planned for today?" I walked next to Patton.

"I thought we could bake, go see the ducks at the pond, and do all the fun things we can think of." He smiled and I smiled back, 'Patton has contagious smiles.' I thought to myself.

"Sounds fun Patton!" We walked over to Thomas' house so we could bake. He got out the baking supplies while I got out the ingredients.

"Can you possibly mix the batter (Y/N)?" Patton asked I nodded in response and started mixing the batter. Patton preheated the oven making the frosting for the cupcakes. We had so much fun making them. But, before we knew it they were done. "Let's go give the others cupcakes!" Patton said happily. I chuckled at his happiness.

"Alright," I picked up the plate of cupcakes and Patton and I started distributing them. Although I didn't see Virgil, "hey Princey do you know where Virge is?"

Roman nodded, "he's probably in his room listening to his emo music," Roman sighed.

"Thanks, Princey," I started my way upstairs and knocked on the door that I presumed to be Virgil's door. It was black with 'KEEP OUT!' stickers on it. I chuckled to myself at his attempts to be an 'edgy' teenager I knocked on his door and heard grumbling.

Virgil had opened the door, and was a little bit shocked to see me on the other side of the door. I gave him a genuine smile and was about to speak before he cut me off by saying, "What do you want?"

I somehow smiled a bit wider, "Patton and I made cupcakes and Princey told me you were in your room so I came up here to give you a cupcake," I showed him the cupcake I had for him. I felt my cheeks heat up a little bit as I did so. I could've sworn I saw a little tint of pink on Virgil's face.

Virgil smiled and took the cupcake. "Thanks (Y/N), you might wanna meet back up with Patton though." I smiled and nodded.

"Hope you like the cupcake, Virge!" I shouted behind me as I walked away from him. I walked over to Patton and the others, "alright, I'm ready to go watch the ducks!" I said excitedly to Patton.

Patton and I were walking up to my house, "Thanks for the wonderful day Patton." I smile at him as we made it to my front door. Before I walked through the door I gave Patton a hug and whispered, "see ya later dad." That made Patton overly happy as he hugged me back. We let go of each other after a little bit. We exchanged our goodbyes and after one more hug I went inside.

My dad was waiting for me in the living room, "Why did you hug him?" My dad was being overprotective again. So, I rolled my (E/C) eyes.

"Dad, I told you he's like a dad in my friend group so we all call him Dad and he makes dad jokes and overall acts like our dad." I smiled and went up to my room to change into my (F/C) pajamas and as soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep.

(A/N): I loved writing about a day with my dad..... XD I wish he was my dad, anywho I was thinking of writing another fanfiction except it would be about Deceit x Reader but I would need a prompt and want to know if people, would actually like to read it......
