Recap: The one thing that set me off was....

The one thing that set me off about her was instead of wearing a dress on a date she was wearing a tux. She talked to the guy she was out with for awhile. Virgil, Logan, Patton, and I, just tried to ignore her. But, she did call us over so being polite we walked over and sat down with her. "What do ya want? And who are you??" Virgil asked rather quickly and it took her off guard.
"Well, my name is Sam, and I called y'all over to see if my boyfriend and I could make new friends." She responded happily, Virgil seemed content with her reply.
Logan, however noticed her outfit and decided to ask what would be an offensive question to most people. "If you don't mind my asking, Sam, what Gender are you?"
Sam looked a bit offended but she soon understood why he would ask that, "I'm genderfluid and today I felt like a guy so on my date I wore a suit, instead of my dress." Logan nodded, "now what is all your names?"
Logan spoke first, "my name would be Logan."
Virgil said his quickly not wanting to be made fun of, "mynameisVirgil." Sam nodded as if she understood him.
Patton said, "well hiya kiddo, my name is Patton but you can call me dad." Sam seemed to chuckle at Patton's response.
I said my name fairly quiet but Sam understood me, "my name is (Y/N)."
Sam smiled and offered us seats at the table. We all gladly sat down and it was almost time for the plan to work, I sent Virgil the signal. "Oh, sorry Logan, and Patton (Y/N) and I forgot our wallets at home, we'll go get them." Virgil had said and stood up I also stood up following him.
Logan rolled his eyes, "Pat I don't think they're gonna come back, let's just eat real quick pay and then go kill them." Sam chuckled a bit and kept talking with her boyfriend.
(Patton's POV)
'They promised they'll be back, why would Logan think they won't?' Patton thought to himself. But, he just kept quiet and they ordered their food. "Lo, can I tell you something?" I blushed softly, I knew why they left. I didn't think my crush was that obvious that they had to make a plan to get us to confess.
Logan nodded, "you can tell me anything you need, Pat."
I smiled and took a deep breath, "I think I may like you, Lo."
Logan looked up he looked confused, "What do you mean you like me? I mean I sure hope you like me, after all we both live in the same house."
I had facepalmed due to Logan's response. "No that's not what I mean, Lo, I mean I think I may love you." I hid my face in my hands. Logan brought one of his hands to mine and held it I looked at him and saw him smiling and blushing.
"I love you too Pat, I knew what you meant, but I just had to make sure." Logan kept smiling and I was a blushing mess, I felt so embarrassed.
I sighed and after we all ate, we paid the bill, exchanged numbers with Sam and their boyfriend. Logan and I walked home holding hands. Of course there were homophobic people shouting hurtful comments that made me wanna cry but, every time Logan would cheer me up and make me smile.
We soon made it home and I opened the door for Logan. Immediately we saw Virgil and (Y/N) on the couch, (Y/N) looked up to see us. "So how was your guys' lunch?" She asked.
Logan cleared his throat, "We ate good food and Patton and I started dating." I smiled and put my head on Logan's shoulder. I saw both Virgil and (Y/N) give a satisfied smile and gave each other a high five.
