"Can't this car go any faster?" Page asks for the hundredth time.

"If I go any faster, I'll break the speed limit." Jake replies as he turns down another road. It's a dingy street that appears completely deserted. "Is this it?"

Demetri looks down at the directions scrawled out on the crinkled piece of paper. "According to the guy we forced this out of...this is it."

"It was super cool! I can't believe you actually froze him to a pole!" Mahoney exclaims as he leans forward from the back seat.

"Did you really need to?" Demetri asks rubbing the back of his neck.

"Did those jerks really need to take Crystal?" Page shoots back with sharpness in her tone.

Demetri flinches which doesn't go unnoticed by Page. She lets out a small sigh. "Sorry."

"It's okay, we're all worried about her." He replies back gently.

Mahoney clenches his fist. "We're going to get her back and them I'm turning them all into barbecue."

"Easy there cannibal," Jake says nervously. "I want Crystal back just as much as you guys do but Crystal wouldn't want people to be killed or hurt because of her."

Mahoney crosses his arms and shakes his head causing chestnut hair to reflect the sunlight. "I just want her back."

Page opens her car door. "We all do, so let's go and do something about it."

They all climb out of the car. Four teens all dressed in jeans and casual t-shirts reflecting each of their elements with Jake in a white shirt and a black jacket. This will totally work, right?

A man exits the building and stops short when he sees the four standing before him. He clenches his fist and Page can't help but notice the stones shaking on the ground around their feet. "What are you doing here?"

Mahoney stepped forward and snapped his fingers. Fire jumps around his hand. "Relax home boy, we're benders just like you."

He stares at them suspiciously for a few moments before gesturing to the door he came out of. "Welcome to Underground. This way."

"Where do you think he was going?" Demetri whispers to Page.

"Doesn't matter, he's taking us to the Underground now," Page whispers back. She doesn't trust this earth bender but he can take them to where Crystal might be. She has to take that chance.

He opens the rusted door he just came out of and leads them down a narrow hallway that's lined with stone and dripping with water down its rusty walls. Suddenly, it transitions into a set of stairs that lead underground. Huh, the bending society literally is underground.

The stairs seem to stretch on forever with Mahoney constantly asking if they are there yet before they met the bottom and a site to behold. A dome like structure stretches on for miles beyond what Page's eyes can see all held up by metal beams and pillars. Metal and stone buildings of various shapes and colors stretch up and around them. People in tradition camp attire and regular clothes with the traditional colors mingle in and out of the structures chatting and interacting with one another as if this entire set up is completely normal.

"Talk about being bright for being underground," Page grumbled as a light overhead suddenly comes to life. Hundreds if not thousands of round beaming lights fill the ceiling above provide ample light for everyone below. The gang dodges a firebender performing in the street as they make their way around.

"So now what do we do?" Jake asks as he looks around at all the people. "How can we find Crystal, this place is huge!"

"The real question is how does no one know about this? Does Washington really not know there's a baby city below it?" Mahoney points out as he gawks at a blue metal home that has been placed on top of a green one. He stops suddenly when he almost runs into one of the metal pillars. His eyes widen while a trembling hand reaches up to tear down a poster from the rustic surface. "G-Guys."

Page and the other immediately halt at his change in tone. They rush to his side to take a look at the shaking paper in his hand. The poster describes a tournament of some kind for benders, but that's not what really catches their attention. The grand fight for the night is....her terrified face plastered on that poster causes all of their faces to pale and their stomachs to drop. Its a fight with the Avatar and the poster reads its a fight to the finish.

"We need to find these Game officials now."

Jake snatches the poster from Mahoney's hands. Crystal wouldn't agree to a fight like that. If these people think they can do this his sister, his baby sister, they have another thing coming. He may not be a bender, but he is a big brother. They better look out. Jake is coming to the rescue.
