"Talula! You're here!" Page exclaims excitedly. "Can you believe this?!"
"N-Not really." Crystal replies in a tone that doesn't seem to match Page's happiness.
"How did you get here so fast?" Page asks. A flight normally lasts five hours or something to go cross country...right?
Talula shrugs. "I never got on the plane. My stepfather and mother were waiting at the airport. Father had to go to DC for a business meeting and brought me along."
"Less talking, more moving." Demitri urges. They all agree and keep moving. They need to get out of the underground. They need to get somewhere safe.
"So your parents are in DC?" Mahoney asks as they ran. He punches back to shoot fire at a few pursuers to buy themselves some more time.
"Yeah, my parents can do what we do," Talula explains. "When he got word of the showdown he paid for the camp to come and rescue you. There's a car waiting for us outside."
"We can't just leave this place like a war zone!" Crystal exclaims in horror. "People are going to get hurt! We have to do something!"
"Crystal," Page grabs a hold of her friend's arm and they all come to a stop in an alley way. A thud rings through the air and dirt comes raining down on them. Her anger is boiling. This whole place is chaos and Crystal just wants to jump right into it. "These people want to kill you. My dad, us, we're all trying to keep you alive. I want to stay and fight too, but if you die all of this is for nothing. Got it? Nothing. We need to go."
Page watches as Crystal turns to look at a small crowd of people running by at the end of the pathway. The group holds their breath as the agonizing seconds pass. Luckily for them no one in the crowd notices the group hiding in the shadows.
Jack heads down to the opposite end and looks up and down the street. "I remember this group of house things, the stair way back up is just down this road."
"Ooo who is the cutie?" Talula whispers over to Page.
"One of Crystal's brothers," Page explains as they start moving again. "He kind of got caught up in all this when he drove Crystal to pick up me and Demetri from the train station."
"Hey, I was there too." Mahoney adds in with a huff.
Soon a doorway comes into view and Page can't believe how happy she is to see a door in that moment.
Suddenly, the ground beneath their feet begins to quake.
"It's an earthbender! Move!" Crystal shouts.
The group scatters just as the earth crumbles right where they were standing a moment before.
"Leaving before you even say good-bye Avatar?"
Page gets to her feet and looks back at a group of benders standing at the ready. Page glares over at them. If they think they could just take Crystal away again they have another thing coming.
"It's show time ladies," Talula declares with a sing song voice.
Page looks around and notices the large pots placed evenly up and down the street. Between the three of them and this much water, this would make for an easy defeat.
She looks to Crystal and notices that Crystal has taken note of the jars as well.
The jar starts to shake and rumble as the water is woken up to come to war. Page watches as Crystal takes a defensive stance in front of the group. "Alright, if you want me then you have to come and get me."
