lorelai is walking around while on the phone."hi, i'm holding for miss bell. i've been trying to get a hold of her all day." she pauses, "lorelai gilmore." she pauses again, "hi! oh, hi, hi. yeah, uh, my daughters rory and tori have just been accepted — yay."
the lady on the phone congratulates her, "thank you, and, um, i got the invoice for your enrollment fee. wow, that is a lot of zeros behind that five." she pauses listening to the lady. "uh-huh. okay, well, i guess what i'm wondering is if you couldn't take, say, part of it now, just to get them going?"
the woman on the phone asks her why, "well, but they're supposed to start monday. it just doesn't give me a lot of time to pull a bank job," the lady on the phones very confused because she thinks lorelai means a handjob.
"well, never mind, i was just kidding," she laughs. "no, a bank job is robbing a bank but --" the lady on the phone cuts lorelai off to talk some more. "uh-huh. oh, no. no, no, no. i don't want you to give up her space. i'll just -- i'll have to figure it out." she pauses again. "okay. no, thank you. it's been a real treat talking to you. yeah. bye-bye." she hangs up the phone and walks to the front porch to sookie
it's nighttime and lorelai and sookie are talking on the porch. "what do I do? what do I do? what do I do?" lorelai exclaims.
"you can have anything i own. my car! sell my car!" sookie suggests.
"Oh, sweetie," lorelai turns to look at sookie, "no one wants your car."
"yeah." sookie sighs.
lorelai paces on the front porch, "there's something i haven't thought of, i know there is. there's something out there staring me right in the face. i just. . . i haven't seen it."
sookie gets up from the floral outside couch and walks over to lorelai, "you know, you might consider calling your par--"
"no."
"but i don't think you have a—" sookie gets cut off by lorelai again.
"stop."
sookie tries to reason with lorelai, "you can at least go and --"
sookie looks at lorelai, "but it seems like the only option."
"sookie, there are several chapters from a stephen king novel that i would re-enact before i'd resort to that option," lorelai states.
sookie gives up, "okay, dropped. it's dropped."
rory and victoria come out of the house wearing the plaid skirt.
"so, what do you think?" rory asks them with a big grin on her face, while tori gives them a twirl.
"wow," sookie squeals, "it makes you look smart."
tori grins as sookie pats down her skirt, "okay, no more wine for you. mom? what do you think?"
lorelai looks at her daughters and sarcastically smiles, "you look like you were swallowed by a kilt!"
rory finally caves into her mother's wishes, "okay fine! you can hem it just a little!"
tori looks at her mom, "can you hem mine a lot? like rachel green short please?"
lorelai looks at her daughter and wraps her arm around her as they walk into the house, "i always knew you were mine. i just didn't know how much christopher got in you."
when they walk into the house, sookie heads straight for the kitchen. lorelai grabs her sewing box and starts pinning up tori's skirt, then rory's.
"i really cannot believe that tomorrow is our last day at stars hallow high! it's my last day being on the team! oh my god, what if i don't make the team at chilton? what if tomorrow is the last day i ever perform with a group! i may never play again! then i'll be known as the girl who wasn't good enough for the cheer team at chilton!" before tori rambles on, and gets herself more worked up than she already is her mom cuts her off.
"tori! sweetie you need to calm down! you are an amazing cheerleader, there is absolutely no way that you won't make the team! oh, and i take back what i said earlier because you did not get the athletic abilities from me, oh no, that's all christopher!
rory gets her skirt hemmed as she tells her mom and tori about her day, "i can't believe tomorrow is our last day either! i was so excited, that i dressed out for gym."
lorelai's shocked, "you're kidding."
"and i played volleyball!" rory adds.
lorelai exclaims, "with other people?"
"and i learned that all this time i was avoiding group sports and leaving it to tori-"
"yeah?"
"was very smart because i suck at them."
"Yeah, you got that from me." lorelai shrugs giving tori a nudge.
sookie comes back out of the kitchen wearing an apron, "where's the pate?"
without missing a beat lorelai says to sookie, "at zsa zsa gabor's house."
thank y'all for being extremely patient with me!! i'm trying to make tori her own character and not say lines that rory or lorelai say. you may notice that tori is a very dramatic person thats what makes her a gilmore. well let me know what you think in the comments xoxo
